   I use this with Wella color charm demi-permanent color. I bought a bowl and brush so now I get the developer and color tubes and take care of my greys as needed in between salon visits. Because it’s demi-permanent there are no issues at the salon if I get highlights or any color there as it isn’t permanent.

   The Wella Colorcharm activating lotion has been discontinued and was replaced by this one. I prefer the activating lotion, please bring it back!

   It’s a great consistency, the smell isn’t overwhelming, and it does the job! I have level 9ish lightened hair and I use the 10 vol to put pastel colored permanents on top. My favorite thing about the 10 vol is that if I apply everywhere, including my grown out roots, it lifts the brown from my root color juuuuuust slightly so that it blends better with the colored parts.
