It was purchased as a Christmas gift. The recipient loved it and the features and hasn’t had any complaints.

Great music, vintage fun! My 15 year old and 11 year old daughter each have one! With a ton of vinyls from T-Swift to Bruno Mars, we have tunes all day long. Let the dance party begin!
Kaitlin –
I bought this player for my 15 year old daughter since she’s “into” the vinyl scene. (her words) I didn’t want an expensive high end player for a teenager who may get bored of it within a year.
The box it came in was severely damaged. Suprisingly, the player itself was fine. Since it closes like a briefcase, the parts inside were well protected and the hard case was able to withstand whatever caused the damage to the box. The case wasn’t even scratched!! This earned it an extra star for the durability.
It’s important to note that this is an ENTRY level player. As such, the turntable is not the best or most solid. In fact the turntable is plastic and floats slightly above the lower part of the player. This floating may give the initial impression that it is broken when it is not.
The table will NOT turn immediately when the player is turned on… it waits for the arm to be positioned over the record and then it starts turning. So don’t worry when nothing happens after the switch is turned on.
Speaking of the arm. It has a little piece that slides over it to lock it down when not in use, so be sure to “unlock” the arm before trying to move it.
Also there is a small lever that raises the arm. You need to press the lever BEFORE positioning the arm over the record and press it again when moving it back to rest position. Do not force the arm down onto the record. The arm will softly descend on its own. I thought this was a nice feature, even though I don’t remember having it on my “old time” record players back in the ’80s. (Damn I’m old now LoL…) The player does have a three way speed switch to play at 33, 45, and 78 RPMs. The switch is small and cheap, and the speed settings aren’t easily visible on the player, but again it was functional.
There is a red LED just above the power switch. On my player this is VERY bright. So bright that it irritates the eyes. A bit of black electrical tape solved this issue.
I give this product 3 stars as it is a very functional player for the entry level audiophile. The sound is good, though not “GREAT”. It does have connections for external speakers and connecting those may improve the sound, but I have not tried it since I don’t have extra speakers laying around.
My daughter thinks its the best thing ever and that’s what counts. As stated above it gets an extra 4th star for durability when closed.
Hope this review helps you out.

Good overall vinyl player. Has output RCA jacks to connect to a bigger sound system. The speakers could be better, but that’s a bonus anyways.

I bought this as a birthday present for my boyfriend. He LOVES it. The color is great and matches the wood in our house. The sound quality is great and it’s very easy to use. Love this product.

I purchased this turntable in February 2021. I have hardly used it at all, but now the records are playing at a lower speed than they should and the sound quality has become terrible. The auto-stop has stopped working too. There is clearly something badly wrong with it. I would like to return it but unfortunately I have missed the window for returns. It is still under warrantee but I would have to package it up and send it to New York, USA, and as I am in the UK it would cost a fortune. I don’t see any way of getting my money back from Amazon. Terrible experience! DO NOT BUY if you are in the UK.

I’ve never owned a record in my life – let alone a record player. This was a thing that my grandparents owned – AND they owned one of those GIGANTIC ones that sat on a floor that came in its own wooden cabinet. I quite honestly was bored, and thought how nice it would be to enjoy music on a different medium than in digital form.
I noticed these little suitcase record players and immediately thought – that’s cute! I did some online research to see how others have reviewed them. Taking that into consideration – the more kinder online videos regarding this record player was spot on.
This particular players is very light weight. I was surprised how light it was. I was also surprised how small it was too. I can be carried like a suitcase. The outer shell is wrapped in a faux leather material – however, the material is not vinyl – it feels more like thick wallpaper. This wallpaper kind of material feels as thought it was glued on. I fear that after a few years this might bubble off. Other than, it is detailed with very classy and handsome brass-type fixtures (i.e. corner brass bumpers, handle and little clasp). There are four little rubber feet on the one side – so that it rests on these rubber feet when you play records. They feel like they’re good for some shock absorption.
The sound is not the best. But I knew this going in. Many reviewers pointed out that the sound is not great. Sure, you can turn the volume up quite loudly – but the sound immediately becomes distorted from being so loud. Because this isn’t a “stereo” system, the sound is quite “small” (if that makes any sense). You can plug in headphones, but you’re still left with that “small” sound. You can hook up external speakers – ones perhaps with amplifiers in them – to have that “stereo” sound (according to online reviewers). I haven’t done that yet.
Overall – this record player is pretty decent playing easy-listening music. I tend to listen to older albums (i.e. the Monkees, Patsy Cline, American Graffiti Soundtrack, etc.) I’m not sure how this record player is going to handle new music or rock music (I’m waiting for both the latest Janet Jackson album and a Queen Greatest Hits album).
This little suitcase record player really is suited for small rooms, or an apartment where you can’t listen to loud music anyway. It’s nice for beginner record/vinyl enthusiasts – or if you just want a different way to enjoy music. I can see myself graduating to a more expensive record player though – but for now – this little cute suitcase record players is not half bad. The reason for 4 stars is simply due to sound quality – and exterior material used.

Firstly, what’s with all the audiophiles complaining that this isn’t top notch? It’s clearly not meant to be an outstanding piece of equipment, if you’re that serious about vinyl why would you even look at this product? It’s also not a “toy”, which is not only rude but misleading. It is literally a very basic record player with built in speakers and blue tooth capability. It does what it sets out to do, it plays music. And no, the speakers aren’t amazing, they’re fine and exactly what I would expect at this price point.
I have to agree with other reviewers, these speakers do have a sharp/harsh quality to them, I play most records at the lowest setting because of this. The louder you get the harsher it can sound, but this does differ significantly with each record I play. You don’t need to play records at full volume, it’s quite audible even at the lowest setting, so when you turn it on don’t instinctively crank it or you might startle yourself. Also because they are basic speakers you can’t adjust anything, so it is what it is. The bass is not strong, so you might be disappointed if your music preference depends heavily on good bass.
I sometimes find the vocals on my records are weirdly subtle sounding on this player. On some of my big band records the backing instrumentals are quiet and the horns are much louder, not sure why that is but it’s not a deal breaker. I wanted a record player without all the fuss and nonsense because I don’t have the room for a larger setup. This is perfect for people who have a small collection of vinyl and/or limited space to play records in. The blue tooth works well, no complaints there, and it’s meant to sync with your phone (not a set of external speakers).
I like that’s it’s so portable, I’m looking forward to bringing this player to my grandmother’s house so she can enjoy the classics all over again. I don’t think I’d ever recommend carrying it like a briefcase, carry it like a record player, I feel like you risk breaking it otherwise. It doesn’t feel the most stable and I imagine if you mishandle or store it incorrectly it could break. Keep it clean and closed up when not in use.
Overall I’m happy with my purchase. I highly recommend this record player for people with very basic needs, students and nostalgic grans alike. Audiophiles can look elsewhere.

This is lightweight, portable, came with an extra stylus and played even heavier vinyl well. Speakers are treble sounding, but I kind of like that when listening to records, gives you old time sound. The volume control I should clarify is great for that sound – comes through loud and clear for a main floor players and not scratchy. Only thing I wish it had was a place to store the plug – but I suppose you could hide it under the closing top just secure it and pad it so it doesn’t damage the components. I was surprised I like this thing. Main system is in my man cave but for listening while upstairs or on the deck this is great. Bluetooth worked well too and has a headphone jack as well, 3 speeds and a 45 adapter. Well done Victrola. Got it used very good for like $25 a steal.

I’ve started growing a vinyl collection over the past year without a record player and I finally bought one. This one was super simple to set up and figure out, and the directions were very clear. I love the crackly old-timey sound when a record is playing on it and I also love how small and compact it is!

I’m glad I got the player so I can play some record that I had. Love the bluetooth settings so I can play some music off of my phone. I plan on getting more vinyl record.
Kerry Ervin –
I bought this record player and a couple vinyl records to start my new hobby and this record player works perfectly. The sound is really good and I really love how pretty the record player looks. Definitely worth buying
Alison Harding –
I got this for a specific reason; to listen to old (and in some cases beat-up) records I still have from my childhood. I have a hi-fi setup for my good vinyl but some kinds of music like oldies from the 50’s and 60’s just sound right to me on a suitcase player just like the way I heard it when I was a kid. Not everything needs to be hi-fi. It sounds just fine for what it is. The old records play well and don’t skip (unless the record is damaged and would skip on any other player). The crackle that would be obnoxious on a big system is not bad and actually sounds quite charming on here.
Besides looking great this player has a few nice touches. The hinges are made to prop up the lid when opened so it doesn’t open too far potentially interfering with a 12″ record. The Bluetooth is nice to have if I don’t feel like dealing with records and just want to stream. Ditto with the aux in. I haven’t used the headphone jack but it may come in handy. Because the unit uses a ceramic cartridge I wouldn’t recommend it as a main turntable using the RCA outs into a stereo system. There just isn’t much low end to speak of. There are better players out there for this but it works in a pinch.
One minor issue is the 45 adapter is a little flared and over-sized at the bottom so a 7″ record doesn’t make good contact with the platter which can result in the stylus dragging and slowing the record down. It works better upside-down.
Overall very satisfied.
