You have to keep this one 40″ away due to 82PPI, if you need 100+ PPI your going to spend a lot more.
Still its great for double webpage viewing, side by side document comparison or working with large spreadsheets.
I’m not a gamer so I can’t comment to that.

This Sceptre 27 inch monitor is completely outstanding. After researching Amazon for several hours and checking many, many customer reviews, I chose this one, and so happy I did. The set up was less than five minutes. No picture adjustments were necessary, But I like a little darker screen and made the one adjustment. Lots of chatter about the built in speakers. It is not the Philharmonic, but I find them just fine and as good as any PC/LT speakers. The sound is acceptable. Comes with HDMI cable, and a very nice instruction booklet. The controls are located on the bottom right side in the back and very easy to use while making any necessary adjustments. The price is right, and I highly recommend this monitor’.. It is a pleasure when you receive an item that exactly works the way it is described’.. My primary use is for photo editing. It’s also great for every day general use as well’…

Todo es perfecto, solo el volumen es muy débil sino hubiera dado los 5 estrellas

I just unboxed my Sceptre monitor today. The box was easy to unpack. Sceptre even supplies an HDMI cord and a handy tiny Phillips screwdriver. There’s a little bit of problem applying the screws that hold the neck of the stand to the receptacle on the back of the screen. Just follow the directions without fail and you’ll be fine. It feels loose precisely because it is; this is the mechanism that tilts the screen forward and backward. As you can see in the picture, I have the Sceptre on my messy desk. The blue item under the right side of the screen is my 2019 MacBook Air. I have an adapter that switches from HDMI to USB-C, so the MacBook powers the screen just fine. The look of the screen is positively awesome! I have a Bluetooth Apple keyboard and a Bluetooth trackpad on the keyboard drawer in my desk. This works really well. Finally, about sound: I had to go into the MacBook’s sound output settings — it’s harder to find this than it used to be — to switch the sound output from my MacBook to the Sceptre speakers which, so far, are adequate for me. I am very happy with my purchase and with the value received for the price.

I absolutely love these screens! Curved monitors look sleek and help my eyes. I got so many compliments on them at work & have sent several people the link so they can order themselves some too!

I ordered this monitor because of a great sale price at the time and to have as an extra spare monitor. It was well packaged and very easy to set up, with an overall good picture quality. However, there was a gray vertical shadow on the right side of the screen, which could not be corrected. It was evident more when the background is white/light. There was a visible light from the lower edge of the frame and seemed to be a defect where there was a small gap, allowing the light to reflect and cause that shadow. The number listed for Sceptre was of no use. I returned it and the new replacement I received did not have that issue. This is the reason for removing one star. This was my first curved monitor and first experience with Sceptre. I suspect the first monitor had a defect in the manufacture causing that gap in the frame, which leads me to believe Quality control is suboptimal. The monitor itself is fairly light and does not seem very sturdy, but as long as it is on an even desk it should not be a major issue. Having 2 HDMI inputs and an included HDMI cable is a plus. There is a VGA, but no DVI input. I personally cannot tell a difference in the picture quality between this curved and a conventional flat monitor. I am not particularly fond of the control buttons being on the back and would have preferred a more standard bottom, top, or side position. The built-in speakers/sound quality is not great (‘Meh!’ to OK at best), but I was not expecting it to be good, like most monitors with built in speakers. If sound is very important in your daily computer use, you would likely have free standing speakers anyway. Considering it is a 27″ curved (whatever curved means to you) monitor with good picture clarity, for just under $100, I have no complaint. If the price was significantly higher, I would have passed on it. Time will tell as to durability. Thank you.

This monitor beat expectations. I am planning to get another one for the Garage. Very worth it for the price.

great product for the price tag, excellent packaging, would be nice to have it height adjustable.

Working from home now I needed a larger screen than my 13″ laptop provides. I checked out a number of models and this covered all the bases. It’s got a great picture, fast refresh and a very reasonable price. My only complaint is that the power cord is short. I have the monitor on my dining room table and the cord barely reaches the floor. It should have been 10 feet long rather than 5 feet. It’s an annoyance but for a few pennies more this monitor would have been outstandingly perfect.

The monitor I received from Sceptre stopped working 3 weeks after I received it. Still under warranty and they haven’t done a thing for me. After a few trouble shooting calls. I was told customer service was to contact me and direct me how to exchange it. That didn’t happen. And after about 15 attempted tries to contact them I have given up. What a waste of money. I will be contacting amazon and seeing what they might be able to do.

We purchased this monitor in July 2020, at the height of the pandemic, hoping for some escape. Unfortunately, this monitor absolutely did not live up to our expectations, and as you can see from the picture, it broke less than one year after purchase. Everything worked fine, the video quality with a very good graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 6GB Video Card) was mediocre at best, the built in speakers are tinny, and quiet. When we checked the warranty from the company, we discovered that we were welcome to ship it back to the US – and we live in Canada, so shipping it back would have cost about half the entire cost of the monitor. Additionally, we reached out to the company using the form on their website, and after 8 weeks, still have not received a reply. We have now reached out to them by email, but we suspect they may not cover it under warranty as it is now over the one-year manufacturer warranty. Save your money and buy something else, anything else, just not this.
