Kristina DiVozzo –
Just got it in a mail today and used it to remove calluses very quickly from my feet. Had one of these many years ago. Couldn’t find it in the store so I bought it online. Works well & removes amazing amount of calluses quickly from my feet and I like the little emery pad that comes with it to smooth the rest of my feet up. Highly recommend it. I’d buy it again.

I’ve been wanting to get one of these for YEARS and am so glad I finally did! Pain free and simple to use. Helped smooth out a couple of dry patches on my feet and got rid of a lot of dead skin. I will definitely be using this frequently to keep my feet soft!

I will keep this simple. I have bought 2 different brands of Electric Callus remover but they were not effective and kept losing charge. It was a hassle so they are in the trash after only owning them for 2 months.
I had the original PeddEgg and it worked very well several years ago. So I decided to try it again. I saw they had the upgraded model which is the Jumbo.
PROS:
1. It has a handle so it is easier to use..
2. Easy to clean. Just flip the switch and it pops open. Then dump it in the trash.
3. Very inexpensive.
4. Nothing to charge.
5. It really works. My dry, cracked heels are nice and smooth again. It did not take much effort at all.
6. Larger size gets the job done quickly.
CONS:
1. It does not come with a case or bag. Just to be sanitary, I have to keep it in a zip lock. A small bag would be nice.
SUMMARY:
Do not waste money on the rechargeable Callus removers. They do not work well, and take much longer to do the same thing. The Jumbo PeddEg is the best.
I highly recommend it.

This PedEgg is nice device to removing calluses on my feet. Sure does good job. Be careful using it. If you hold the PedEgg incorrectly it may cut your skins. It shaved my calluses dead skins, but it’s a little due sensitive skin. The PedEgg does hold up the scrapped skins inside it. Make little mess. Be sure to seat down with cloth or mat when scrapping your calluses heels. This is better than electric calluses remover. Not a bad product.

I had the original Ped Egg from a few decades ago. It was dull and needed to be replaced. But I read a lot of reviews that said the new one wasn’t as good so I hesitated. Sorry, those reviews were wrong. Not only is this one as good as the original, it’s better. It’s much easier to pop the blade off and flip it over for storage because there’s a little ridge you can push on. It’s sharp, it’s easy to use, and I’m glad I finally bought it.

I purchased a PedEgg Power from an As Seen on TV store years ago when the product first came out. I have Cerebral Palsy which often results in painfully cracked and peeling feet/heels, and my feet are also incredibly sensitive, so a pumice stone or a manual PedEgg are too difficult or painful to use.
I loved my PedEgg Power but lost it in the chaos of a bathroom remodel a few years back– we recently found it but the rollers were too damaged to be worth attempting to clean, so I searched on Amazon and found this listing for an “updated” PedEgg Power.
It looks and feels similar to the one I remember, and the button system is much easier than the switch for the original. My only complaint is that both rollers are too similar in color to tell which one is which– the original PedEgg Power had a purple smoothing head so that you could easily distinguish it from the main callous removing head. Also, be cautious of the amount of pressure you use if you have sensitive feet.

I’m a long time PedEgg user and it’s been a real pain finding quality refill blades for the old model. Over the last 5 years they’ve dropped in quality so maybe only 1 in 5 you buy actually works. So was happy to see this updated version get released! Here are my initial notes comparing the pros and cons of the new version. I’ll update this review after the blade gets a bit more use on how long it lasts.
Pros:
1) On initial use the blade is really good – like the old one was when brand new. Works great!
2) I think it’s slightly easier to hold onto in my hand than the older one
3) The blade fits tighter in the unit than the old model and doesn’t pop out as easily (at least as compared to the crappy refills of the last few years)
Cons:
1) It’s REALLY hard to open. I’ve had to get something to pry it open each time I’ve used it… very tight tolerance and there is no little fingerhold indent to pry against like on the older model (see attached picture). I hope it gets easier over time.
2) The area inside the egg where your ‘foot shavings’ are stored is poorly designed. When you are done using the PedEgg, the lip catches them and you can’t cleanly dispose of them. The old model you could just tap them out, this one requires a lot more effort and cleaning.
3) – and this is a big one that I hope gets remedied and why I’ve rated this 3 stars – THERE ARE NO AVAILABLE REFILLS FOR SALE FOR THIS ITEM. Meaning for now at least, it comes with one blade and you need to buy an entire new PedEgg to get a new blade. There is a sheet that comes with it saying go to pedeggblades dot com to order (doesn’t work) or call a toll free number to order refills (also doesn’t work). None are listed on amazon or on the manufacturers website.
Once #3 is fixed, I plan to update my review to 4 stars. This new egg works great and I’ll learn to live with the design flaws compared to the crappy blade refills only available for the old model.
Debbie –
First, I don’t think anything is worth the money we pay for items, hence a four star.
Second, – cleaning it – I can’t find a way to open the area where the shavings go to. All I can do is shake that part of the shaver over the trash bucket.
Ease of use – I had one for about 3 years – just bought another one – and I have to say this item does the job you pay for. I will buy this again, when needed. (Which brings up a question: Is there a way to sharpen the blades on the Egg? Or if we can open the Egg is there just a replacement for the blades that would cost less.) Thank you.
