Gamer –
This is my very first tablet, I was the kind of guy who used to thought tablets were unnecessary gadgets but now I believe they are very useful for studying when you are done of being sit in front of a desk , and also they are helpful as source to keep your daily notes, to-dos , etc . I decided to give it a try on this one because i like the brand and because of its solid specs and so far very happy with it. I really recommend this product. Gamer –
Where to start? Well, I guess the positive. It’s well made (IP68), heavy, battery last forever. The one game I play, I get 7.4 mins for every 1% battery vs my other tablet (P11 Pro Gen2 6GB) that get 4 mins for every 1%. Doesn’t get hot either like my other tablet. It charges fast as well, around the advertised speed of 80 mins. The OS seems stable and responsive. The negative… HDR doesn’t look good at all. I have to crank the screen to 75% brightness to get it to look good indoors vs my other tablet which looks good at 60%. Can’t uninstall a number of apps. “Game mode” short cut is nearly impossible the access. I clawed a million times at the top left and right of the screen and only got it to open a few times when prompted. Now for the biggest gripe! 7:5 aspect ratio… HORRIBLE for games. Pixel count doesn’t mean you see more the screen… The aspect ratio however does. My other tablet displays the game with near identical vertical height but displays horizontally over 2 inch more of the game. My 21:9 phone displays over 4 inches more. Yet both my old tablet and my phone have way less pixels. There is no option to play a game in a given aspect ratio… Rendering the “Game mode” totally useless other than to look at stats and to turn up the “performance”.
So, I’m torn… I like it and I hate it.
