This was really simple to use and smells good. My daughter was super happy with it and the color is pretty vibrant after leaving it on wet hair for 20 minutes. Only bad thing seems to be is that my hands are stained teal and I’ve already tried washing them 2x with blue dawn and it didn’t come off. Should’ve worn gloves!!

When I had gotten highlights, they were much lighter/brighter than what I anticipated. I searched the internet to find a way to bring the warmth to my highlights that I was hoping for and found this product after a LOT of research and reading reviews. I chose “honey” because I was looking for a tint and not a lot of color. The curled hair is before I tried the product and the straight hair is after 1 application. I applied it to dry hair and let it sit for 20 minutes before showering. I was EXTREMELY happy with the results. The color is exactly what I wanted and it is super easy to apply and use as a shampoo/ conditioner. Also, aside from the color part, the shampoo/ conditioner aspect of this was UNBELIEVABLE! By far the best thing I have ever used on my hair. I cannot describe the silkiness this gave my hair, it was next level! My hair was pretty damaged after the highlights but this made it so much easier to comb through my hair. And I was pleasantly surprised at how well it cleaned my hair! It really works well as a 2-in 1. I love that I can use this about once a week to touch up my color and refresh my hair’s moisture! My one complaint was that the little nozzle came broken because of the way it was shipped but thankfully the pump still worked for me and it still worked just fine.

It makes your hair turn blondish as it fades

Smells very good. No nasty fumes like hair dye. I placed a good amount on dry hair then let sit for at least 20 minutes. Darkens the grays but does not completely take care of them. Be careful because it stains hands and shower wall when rinsing out.

Overall decent product. Unfortunately, I’m not crazy about the fact that it doesn’t work as well with “virgin hair” as lots of reviews have mentioned.
I had blonde balayage done 2 years ago, so it is growing out and only on the bottom third of my hair now. I love being blonde, just haven’t gotten around to keeping up with it so I’ve had my natural, dirty blonde/light brown for the most part. My boyfriend’s bday is coming up and he loves red hair, so I decided to try this out to surprise him, since it’s marketed as a temporary dye.
I did what the reviews said: I used gloves, put it on dry and let it soak for nearly an hour. Rinsed it out and just as foretold, the parts where my hair was treated blonde (bottom part) took to it very well, and much more than my natural dirty blonde/light brown “virgin” hair.
I’m not crazy about this look, though, with the bright red on the ends. The saturation proportions aren’t great. I think if I had all “virgin hair” I would be happier with the darker, overall reddish tone, but it would probably require a few more applications.

I have only tried the red and purple. The red shows up very well on brown/light blond hair that has not been lightened. On my hair the purple did make a change but not as good as the red. Looking forward to trying other colors!

I put this on after I shampoo my hair and follow the instructions and keep it on 3 minutes. I don’t know that it really effectively covers my gray, but I use it with the faith that it will. I also use it because I want to keep away any brassiness, and it may be why I don’t see brassy tones in my hair.

I ordered two (silver and silver/blue). The dispenser on the silver came broken. Long story short, my hair was blonde, and I colored it back to my natural color (light ash brown). After about 4 weeks, the dye fades and my hair turns brassy. I use silver hair dye (because of the blue base) to tone my brown hair and keep the brass out. It works great! I figured the silver clenditioner would help maintain the silver toner and keep it from fading so quickly. I was wrong. I left this product on for 10 minutes and it did nothing to my hair. I did give it 3 stars because it smells amazing, leaves my hair super soft, and a little product goes a LONG way. I was originally disappointed that the bottle is so tiny, but once I used it, I was surprised at how little product you need to coat your entire hair.
Edit to add: Came back a month later to change it from 3 stars to 4! After having used it several times, it is actually working to keep the brass out of my ashy brown hair. I am more impressed now than I was after the first wash.

You really have to let it sit in your hair if you want a noticeable difference but I like that you’re able to use it in the shower. I know it’s only meant to prolong fading but if you kind of let it dry in your hair a little while you sit in the bath, you can get noticeable results.

First time trying..will purchase again if it works well.

I use this product when my red hair from the salon fades. The colour pay off is really really strong. Tbh it’s abit too strong for my liking but I use it to keep the red from fading too much. My hair is bleached so the colour shows up very bright. I would say the colour lasts about 2 weeks if you shower twice daily. However you need to know, after using this product, it will dry out your hair even with the conditioning agent in the dye. So take extra care of your hair after that. Also I used it on dirty hair and it didn’t make a difference, so no need to wash your hair before application if you have bleached hair I think. (I have black hair and bleached it once, so base colour is orangey, not yellow/white bleached hair)
