I had been searching for just a simple black side table for a few days after doing some remodeling in a room. I was astounded by the price tags at different stores for such a small piece of furniture to the point that I was considering making my own table for less than what I had seen. I came across this and the price point was perfect and so was the size in the description. Then the box came. By the look of the small box I figured I was probably going to have to return it for not being as big as it claimed. I was determined to not go to bed without at least trying to get it put together. I grabbed my toolbox for anything I might need and got my lighting in order to see any small holes for attaching stuff and then I was ready. I opened the box, made sure I had everything, read the instructions and put it together without tools in less than five minutes. Three easy steps. I wish everything was like this. And it fit perfectly where I needed it. If you are looking for small, basic, sturdy, and reasonably priced, this is it! Do not look any further. I spent more time prepping to put it together than I did actually putting it together. Such a time saver!

I bought this shelf to use as a stand for my CPAP night sleep station. It is just the right height to read and reach the controls while in bed, the second shelf is just the right size for a basket that can hold the mask and tubing (I’m using an Amish woven basket made in SW Wisconsin that I picked up at a thrift store), and the bottom shelf is the right size for a gallon bottle of distilled water.
I’m using a tray under the water bottle because I wouldn’t trust these shelves to survive being wet without some damage, and I also wouldn’t trust it to support the weight of the gallon bottle that I throw all of my spare change into, but for light use it’s pretty unbeatable. It’s a great size for small places, it doesn’t wobble, and it looks good enough to disguise how cheap it is if tucked in next to some other furniture.
I couldn’t find a better choice for $14 and it functions perfectly as a CPAP station.

I needed something to keep my docking station and old notes off my main office desk, but had only a small amount of room between my desk and the door. I measured how much room I have and found that this is cheap and fits just within those dimensions. So far it does what I need it to do and matches my desk’s wood color. I didn’t read the product description close enough and didn’t realize the poles were plastic, but that’s fine for what I need it to do.
One thing to keep in mind is that if the table is oriented from the thin side, you can’t easily put in or take out a normal-sized notebook without having to twist it, nor can the notebook lay straight. A little annoying, but if that’s something important to you keep it in mind. Thinner poles would get rid of this issue, but that may have to be aluminum, which may increase the price. In all, for the price, I think it’s worth it.

This little table is really cute, and the easiest piece of furniture I’ve ever put together. You just screw a couple of pieces together and it’s good to go. I wouldn’t put anything heavy on this table. The legs are PVC and hollow inside. This furniture is great for elderly or disabled people because it weighs about 5 lbs so it’s not hard to move. Make sure you check the measurements because it is a short table compared to most American furniture, but it’s the perfect height for bucket chairs and other similar seats. I could see it being great for dorm rooms since it’s easy to assemble and disassemble, it weighs almost nothing, and it’s small.

Ok, so first off this is obviously not what you buy if you want a fine piece of classy furniture to show off to everyone, but I got it for about $16 before taxes etc and it’s great when you can get anything for that price that is good enough for the purpose you have.
In my case I just need to stash a CPAP machine and sanitizer on the other side of a bed against the wall in a corner where nobody can see it. The table is lower than the bed which is good because it remains hidden. And it will handle the weight of the light stuff I need to put on it.
The “legs” are hollow plastic tubes that just screw together by hand, so it’s not that strong. I added felt pads to the feet so that it doesn’t scratch the hard floor or slide easily. (There is no rubber on the feet so you may want to add something like this if this is not on carpet.)
It’s super easy to put together because no tools are required, and all three planks are identical so there’s no mixing them up. Just don’t overtighten the plastic tubes and crack them or something.
Minor things the manufacturer could do to improve it without much cost:
– There’s no way to grip the top caps to tighten them down better. I just used some pliers and scratched them up on the sides a little. Some sort of slot in the top of these for a screwdriver or some other solution would be useful and probably wouldn’t cost anything.
– Some silicone feet, or some sort of feet, would be nice but lots of stuff needs chair/table foot covers in different situations so this isn’t a big deal. And it’s hard to know if someone wants felt, silicone, or carpet grip.
Overall this is perfectly good for the price as long as your expectations are reasonable for something this inexpensive. The main feature here is the low cost.

I don’t believe that I’ve ever put together any piece of furniture with such ease. I got a 2-pack and both of them probably took me less than 5 minutes to assemble. On top of that, the stands seem very sturdy and look nice on the sides of most entertainment centers. Overall the table is on a smaller side and would look great in places that would accommodate such design. Though it appears sturdy enough for most things, I’d avoid putting something truly heavy on there, but with the size consideration anyway, I doubt that would be an issue for most people.
