I have been using this product from Almay for many years when I bought it in the high street pharmacies in the USA. It only cost about £8.
Sadly you can’t buy it there anymore. I have tried many eye makeup remover products but nothing works as well as this one for waterproof mascara.
I think £16 is a rip off though and can’t understand it.

This is for removing eye makeup. It is not very effective and did not remove my mascara without effort. Not for me

These pads dissolve water resistant mascara without rubbing or stretching. Press pad against the eye and hold for moment, then wrap pad around finger and press and sweep against lashes. You will have to BLOT WITH A TISSUE afterwards to pick up residue cleanser, but still no tugging. Love it.

The pads are very gentle but definitely remove waterproof makeup.

I use waterproof mascara and few wipes work to remove it, so I thought I’d try these. As other reviews have said, it is very oily and definitely leaves the oil on your skin. But this is nothing a warm washcloth won’t fix afterwards. The rounds are small, I needed 3 just to remove my mascara, and a single line of eyeliner. I really don’t wear much makeup so that seemed a little excessive to me. I’d rather have them a little bigger. I don’t think I’d trust the container for traveling in a suitcase unless it was in a sealed plastic bag. It seems to me that oil would leak a bit and could potentially make a mess. With all that said, I like them and will use them followed by a warm washcloth.

I love these my eye are so sensitive and there help get the waterproof mascara off without burning my eyes like lot of other products do, I’m gutted I can no long get them as gone up way to much now stuck on what to buy that don’t burn my eyes

These remove my eye makeup so easy without a lot of tugging around the sensitive eye area. I wear several layers of waterproof mascara and you can just sit these over your eyelashes and it will instantly start coming off. Much better than any of the other wipes that I have found which take alot of effort in an area that is very sensitive. These are perfect and I have used them consistently for many years

These are oddly a little greasy. I have to take off the eye makeup, then was my face to get the greasy shine off. Maybe that’s normal for eye makeup remover. I don’t know, this is my first.

I used another brand and loved them-that was a brand I’d never heard of. Ran out of those-came back to Amazon & stumbled upon the Almay wipes. I figured it wouldn’t be too bad since Almay typically produces decent products. This is not it. They are very thin: it takes one whole wipe to do just one eye and I don’t wear a ton of eye makeup (usually only waterproof mascara). The other brand removed makeup from both eyes with just one wipe! They are also super oily, I believe they say oil free- but when it comes to my eyes, glycerin feels and acts just like oil. My eye lids are naturally oily and these make it worse. I wash my face after using them, but I have to really ensure I get my eye area & lash lines well, otherwise the oil from the wipes lingers among my lashes and comes back to haunt me later! I will say this – they do work. I have to scrub well, but I wear waterproof mascara, so that is understandable. Regardless, I won’t be purchasing them again.

The actual pads are too stiff & inflexible to use on the eyes. The pads should be thinner, and softer. More flexible.
