Amplifier – Archeer G30
Speakers – Dual Electronics LU43PB
I pushed in or removed rear connectors on both devices , antenna too , I soldered all the wiring.
—
Speakers are well made (5/5) and disassembly was easy, pop the mesh and unscrew six screws.
Speaker swivel brackets was perfect fit to hold amplifier.
—
Too many disinformation about the amplifier:
-Size: 8.27”x6.3”x2.75” is not correct.
Size without front and back knobs , connectors is 190mm x 125mm x 45mm ( 7.48” x 4.92” x 1.77”).
-24V input, will not work.
-Built in power supply is inadequate, with my two speakers, 4-6 Ohms, playing from TF card, with maximum volume it will not work more than 4 minutes and then it starts restarting. Any volume on the knob above approximately 45% it will end up eventually restarting.
Amplifier was easy to disassemble. It has two separate PCB boards, front controls and rear connections.
Caution:
Rear connections PCB board is also 110V input and it has no insulator underneath it (I put a sheet of plastic and secured it).
This is pretty much like a lottery but, lets say you drop the amplifier it hits something sharp and the bottom aluminum casing of it bends inside and it touches 110V live wire on PCB, not making a short, now your entire amplifier aluminum casing is conducting 110V…
USB/TF, after shutting it down and turning it back on it starts playing last played file from the beginning.
I tried MP3 , FLAC.
Manual:
-”MODE” you are cycling trough all the inputs (TF,FM…).
-”VOL-”,”VOL+” short press = previous, next file or station.
Long press = changes volume.
-”SCAN” short press = pause, play or mute, unmute.
Long press = Scan, stores available FM stations.

Sound is clear and reasonably loud at ~45%.

For the price, this really is a great little speaker. I run patio speakers in the back of my Jeep so I can open the tailgate and flip them out to play tunes when I am camping/working on my “up north” property. The all-weather design leaves me with no concerns if it rains. If I am staying up there for more than a couple of days, I even hang them in the trees and run speaker wire back to the Jeep. I purchased these as a downgrade from my Klipsch KHO-7 pair, simply because they were too big and got in the way when I am loaded down with gear.
They sound pretty good. The highs are clear and crisp without being too bright. The mids were a tad strong and “squawky” at first, but I was able to correct with an EQ adjustment. Bass lines are strong, but don’t expect to be blown out of you seat with a 4.5″ woofer. I can’t speak of deep bass, as my sub woofer takes over at 120Hz. The sub is another reason for the downgrade from the Klipsch’s – there really wasn’t much need for a large enclosure when the sub takes all the big hits. They are being driven by a 250w amp, which is probably realistically a 150w amp that I only use 100w of at peak. They take the power fine, but do of course have a limit before they distort if I really try and push them That limit is beyond my useful range anyway. They are loud enough that they become uncomfortable after a few song up close, and project enough that I can hear the tunes clearly on the front 5 acres of my property. Overall, and considering the price, they are a surprisingly comparable to the Klipsch’s in sound quality. While they do project well on my wooded lot, I have to give that win to the Klipsch’s and their horn-loaded tweeter. In closing, these were well worth the $50. With the abuse these see in the way of being bounced around in the Jeep, I expect to get 2-3 years out of them. If they fall short of that, I will update here as long as Amazon will let me….

I was setting up my Home Theatre and spent way too much already on front and center speakers so I was looking for some very budget friendly speakers for the back surround. They also needed to be small and wall mountable. At first, I was reluctant because of the brand. After I read all the reviews and asked a question, I decided I had nothing to lose by trying. When they came, I was very happy with their size and ease of mounting them to the wall that without even trying them, I ordered another pair so I could try them all together in the 7.1 setup. After calibrating the receiver, I watched a movie and then did some tests using several films like Superman, Fifth Element and so on. I must say the speakers sound fantastic for my application. I did not try them alone on a stereo for example but as surround speakers, they sound and look amazing and for $50 you cannot go wrong! I’m running alongside $900 speakers and they’re holding up fine. As I said, they caught me by surprise.

Ups!!!!

Purchased 4 of these (2 pairs) to set up a cheap garage sound system in all 4 corners. They sound decent, save for bass that naturally lacks, although I’d have to say for the price point you simply can’t complain. Easily 2 to 3 times cheaper than many comparable speakers, so you do get what you pay for.
My biggest gripe isn’t even with the sound of the speakers but rather with the inconsistencies of the grills. When purchasing 2 sets, I was shocked to find that 2 different designs showed up. I can’t tell for sure but the woofer design even looks different as well. At first I thought maybe someone had returned them and sent back a different model, but as shown in the pics, the label says they are the same model number. This kind of inconsistency is highly frowned upon in a market where cosmetic appearance does count. I found this to be unacceptable and returned.
On a side note, one of the sets was an Amazon warehouse return and was listed “like-new” in original packaging Arrived in a plastic bag with one of the grills dented badly as well as missing ALL mounting hardware, including the hardware required to attach the speaker to the brackets. Love using Amazon warehouse but this seems to be a huge grab bag with these speakers.

Bought 2 sets for the back yard patio originally I was disappointed but I was driving them with a cheap small bluetooth amp. I have now upgraded the amp and I can say wow! For mids and highs they sound amazing I can echo the music clearly through the neighborhood if I want to also playing some songs these speakers pick out some guitar lines that I dont hear in the car or elsewhere! They are not bass speakers but I am running a subwoofer as well so it doesnt matter. They have now been out almost a year through an icy windy winter and still sound great. I think people that complain about the sound quality of these are probably using a poor quality amp or too small of speaker wire

I have had other Dual speakers that were garbage but bought these slightly higher priced ones and they sound really good. Time will tell how long they will last

I bought these to install in my backyard patio.
I’m really big into music and would generally spend some money to have good sound. Since I just needed these for an outdoor application where I had no real sense of how things would sound anyways, I decided to go cheap.
I saw these pop up on a review website with good marks and I decided to take a chance. I am very happy that I did! For what they are, the sound is loud and clear. Absolutely perfect for my intended use. I would highly recommend for the $130 I paid.

I bought these to mount at my barn so I would have something to play music, podcasts, and audiobooks over while scooping stalls and doing other projects. The speakers are well made and they look like speakers typically do. The performance is good, not great, hence my 4/5 star rating. Audio comes through very clearly but there is very little discernible output in the low-end/bass realm. This is probably to be expected for such a small unit, but I would’ve liked slightly better performance in that regard. Overall, these do the job and have held up for about 6 months at the time of this review.

Look they are inexpensive deck speakers. If you think this pair is going to provide booming sound to your back yard… they are not. If you want a set or two to play music as background sound to a deck party they will work just fine.
You can over drive them very easy which after reading reviews people are doing. If you want booming deck party sound then your going to pay $200 and up. If you want some comfortable background music for your outside event then these will work fine. Expect what you pay for and you will be fine.
I own $1500.00 JBLs for my booming sound. Right equipment for the right event.
