This stuff is amazing. I have always struggled with manageable acne, but lately, I’ve been having more frequent flare ups and my skin hasn’t its usual way. I’ve always used cleaners/toners available from cvs, but decided I would try something a little more “high end” to see if that made a difference. AND THIS DID. I received it on Saturday, and by Tuesday, I noticed a huge difference in my skin. My zits had reduced in size/redness and my acne marks had faded a lot just in those few days. My pores even look smaller! I bought this along with the Purity Clean cleanser and love them both

I bought this originally for post partum cystic acne that was HORRIBLE. I’ve never even had acne until after delivery. After one week the break out was 50% better, after 2 weeks it was nearly gone. Now I use it daily/every other day to keep it at bay. I read reviews online about this product and it lives up the hype. I read a few about and unpleasant smell. 1- it smells fine. 2- let’s re analyze why we are buying the product in the first place.

This stuff is great but the tea tree oil scent is VERY strong the first couple of minutes after applying. I’m ok with it but people who are sensitive to it might want to avoid.

I have been using this serum since February and I absolutely love it. It suits my skin. I have used Dr Dennis gross for about 2 years and was looking to make a switch to a mid range product .
Validated the ingredients against my skin concerns on the app I use and it came out a perfect match. I was a lil nervous about using it as part of my skin care when I visited the very humid part of southern India. It felt stickier when applying there and I had to let it sink in for longer before applying the moisturizer but didn’t have any flare ups.

I am not a believer in “holy grails” but this sure did clear up my skin! For someone who has occasional breakouts, I did notice my skin became much clearer, I felt like I was not getting breakouts as much as I was, and when I did get a small breakout, it was not that long lasting. I already use face wash, toner, essence, and moisturizer so I was skeptical on adding another step in my routine. But it was a very good decision! I put it on right after toner and before essence. It absorbs into the skin quickly. It also has a tea tree scent to it. I would definitely recommend trying it!

I have used this for years and my daughters used it during their pimple years. Really works to dry up breakouts. I apply at the first sign of a breakout morning and night. Dries quickly and is invisible.

This is a bright yellow serum with a thin lotion consistency. I have sensitive skin and wanted to try something different to try and clear up some acne that I was going through recently. Most acne products on the market use benzoyl peroxide (which always dries my skin out) or salicylic acid (which only does an OK job of clearing up acne for me). While this didn’t make my skin worse, I also didn’t see any skin improvements from using this for a month. It does have witch hazel, alcohol, and tea tree oil in it so a lot of people in other reviews online have commented on the slightly unpleasant medicinal smell which is a byproduct of its ingredients. You can get used to it but it’s never that pleasant to use and the smell slightly lingers after you use it. It didn’t make me break out or dry out my skin at least. There is retinol in it so be aware that you should be using a daily sunscreen since retinol increases photosensitivity.
I believe this sells for $42 on the official CosMedix website but is about half that on Amazon. I would say this isn’t worth $42 or even the $22 on Amazon. I’ve used $10 lotions that work better than this. It seems you are mainly paying for the nice packaging, but maybe this works for a very particular skin type. Thumbs down for me though. Not worth the price of admission.

Nice product! It has not necessarily cleared my skin, but breakouts do happen a little less often. I gave it four stars however because it does make my skin feel great! You only need a very small amount so we’ll worth the price to have my skin feel so nice!
