The wash is ok but certainly not worth all the hype. It doesn’t clean the pores very well even after a double wash, and I seem to have developed long lasting spots on my chin Eve since I started using the wash three months ago. I don’t think it overtly irritates skin but it certainly doesn’t stop break outs. It does leave the skin a little on the dry side so make sure you use moisturiser. It is a huge bottle which makes it good value for money if you are committed to it and happy with the product. I would have also preferred if this was a plastic free soap.

Simply the best facial cleanser I have ever used. It’s a very light gel which glides on and is easy to rinse off. No irritation whatsoever and I’ve got ultra sensitive skin. It didn’t leave my face with that awful tight feeling afterwards as all other cleansers have done. I still moisturised and my face feels like silk. Amazing product. Do buy it. You only need a small amount too, so it will last for ages. Can be used on your body too.

My dermatologist recommended this to me many years ago. Love it. It does make your face so very smooth. Make-up would easily be applied after use if massaged into face correctly. I have purchased this product as well even the hydrating face product by same manufacturer. I have been a customer for many years and only buy it from Amazon.

Works very well, leaves my skin feeling clean but hydrated. Even removes mascara well without irritating my eyes. Does not look the most fancy of all cleansers but is a good price and works so well, I keep it in a cupboard anyway so I don’t mind!

The cleanser is gentle on my skin and doesn’t irritate it. For years I had pretty bad acne that gave me moon craters. I thought it was the product I was using so I kept switching. Then I started educating myself and found out there were a few reasons for my acne. The biggest culprit was SUGAR! It didn’t matter what I was putting on my face, the problem was internal.
I love chocolates and ice-cream but my skin did not. After a few months of TLC, my skin started to heal and look better. I think my acne cleared up because of a combination of using cerave products, cutting down my sugar intake, and NOT TOUCHING MY FACE. Touching my face was probably another culprit of my acne. Whenever I touched my face, whatever invisible dirt or germs I had on my finger would be transferred to my face.
When my acne was bad, I started using this cleanser twice a day along with with la roche posay salicylic acid (exfoliant) in the morning and cerave moisturizer. Now that my skin is clear, I only use the cleanser once a day, I stopped using the exfoliant as I felt I no longer needed it, and I use the moisturizer twice a day after I rinse/wash my face. I know sugar is definitely a factor because pimples start popping up again whenever my sugar intake increases. Having a sweet tooth, I didn’t cut out sugar completely, I only limited my intake. This wasn’t much of a review, just wanted to share what I learnt. I highly suggest finding out what works for you.

I love this cleanser it is one of my favs. Does good for getting make up off after you use another cleanser. Helps with acne. Leaves skin soft. I have dry skin so anything that helps moisturizes my skin helps me. Good price for what you get.

This is the best facial cleanser that I have used. Left my face soft well after it was dried. It doesn’t burn if it gets in your eyes.

I purchased this product after all the great reviews. It’s an extremely gentle cleansing product for those of us with dry skin. It doesn’t foam or dry your skin up. I also didn’t feel that it made any difference to my skin. I use it in the morning/in the shower for its calmness. Soap is too harsh for me. If you’re looking for a gentle face wash, purchase this.
The reason I didn’t give full five stars is because I put it on a hiatus and started using a Salicylic cleanser. That Salicylic acid cleanser cleared my forehead up and now I only use the Cerave cleanser when my skin looks too dry. I am impressed by the Cerave cleanser size. It will last you a year! Very cost effective!

I had resisted buying the Cerave face wash, because i have really sensitive skin, and I thought higher-priced products would be better. Then i kept hearing about it… finally i decided to give it a try. It’s honestly the best face wash I’ve ever used. My skin doesn’t react to it, and looks better than it has in years. So don’t be afraid to give it a try!

This face wash has helped my dry skin immensely! My skin was flaky and very dry, but after switching to this face wash this has drastically improved. I also started using the Cereve PM facial moisturizer, so that also has helped.

My intention was to purchase the Hydrating FACIAL Cleanser and received something completely different! – Foaming Cleanser! 3 months prior to this, the same thing happened… it wasnt the hydrating FACIAL cleanser, it was the Hydrating Cleanser – without the symbol of the suitability for eczema prone skin! I had contacted the seller regarding it and received no reply. Notwithstanding, I had high hopes of receiving what I bought this time – incredibly disappointed! ( didn’t think it could happen again the second time). My first thought was to return it. Won’t recommend buying … they are NOT the same product and spells dishonesty.
