Denizen –
This monitor is high quality and cheap for what you get.

Muy buen servicio del envío , me llegó 2 días antes del día estimado y en excelente estado.
En cuanto al monitor superó mis expectativas, me ha servido bastante para jugar en mi pc y en mi xbox.

Purchased for $200 CAD on boxing day 2019. Getting the monitor out of the box was enough stress for one day due to the overflow of tape. To make matters worse the power cable is extremely short, practically to the point where you have to set up right beside an outlet.
The bezel is also super thicc so if you’re looking for bezel-less then look somewhere else. But if you’re looking for the best response time possible with 144 hz, this won’t disappoint.
Also there was no included display cord which was disappointing, however the included HDMI 2.0 was capable of 144hz out of the box so GG Acer.

Picture quality is good and vibrant (with some exceptions).
HOWEVER, there are only 2 hdmi ports and 1 display port meaning if you want to hear ANYTHING, you must use headphones.
I had to connect headphones to my ps4 and nintendo switch. Im sure there’s some sort of audio to hdmi adapter out there but its a real bummer that this monitor does not have built in speakers or even the options to plug in speakers directly
Another thing. Although the ps4 display was really good, displaying games from the nintendo switch looked a little off. It was as if someone turned the sharpness really high for a photo. Eventually I found an option to turn off that extreme sharpness but then it looked a bit blurry. Fortunately this problem does not occur when I’m using the ps4 with the monitor.
Yes it has HDR
Also brightness of 50 out of 100 is super bright. I recommend a brightness of 35 which was what I was using in the review photos

Monitor display quality is really good. My son enjoys it.
The stand is made a bit cheap, a metal one would have reflected the quality of this product more.
It seems to barely hold the weight (not too sturdy) but nothing broke so I guess it is sufficient if you don’t move the monitor around too much.

Looks really nice. Black exterior looks good with the red stand. The screen itself is a good size had no issues. Bought a second one, since it works as intended.

This monitor has a great image quality, I love that is has such a thin frame on the sides (to do multiple monitors for an almost seamless display), and I can have two (or more) computers plugged into this one monitor. Basically, I have a dual monitor stand, two PCs, and a work laptop all in one place. This monitor is always plugged into my gaming PC, and when I need to I can switch to the mirror of my son’s PC desktop or plug in my work laptop when I want to extend my laptop’s desktop. In short … I love this monitor.

Pros:
-144hz
-1080p
-HDMI PORT
-DP PORT
Audio Output
Cons:
-I have a bad lighting bleed on the left side… I would have returned it but I was lazy. I went a little crazy looking at it.. but it’s really only noticable when looking at a black screen it’s a circle that comes into the display about 2cm but….. I really can live with it since i got it on sale I’d rather put up with it then to have sent it back and waited another 2-4 weeks.
-Sleep mode Etc. is not supported on my NVIDIA video card until I did this most recent driver update late august.. kept going to a static screen until i updated my driver which required I unplug my HDMI and plug it back in for it to work again. (Nvidia 1660TI)

This monitor is a bang for your buck. My ‘gaming’ laptop only came with an hdmi port so I couldn’t reach 144hz on typical gaming monitors. This setup comes with an hdmi 2.0 cable capable of running 165hz. When I finally plugged things in I was excited to see that the monitor was fully capable of switching from 60hz to 144 or 165hz.
As a heads up, this monitor will need some tweaking and color correction using its setup options. I’ve been able to create a good middle ground of performance and quality with a little bit of tweaking the settings.
Overall for the price this monitor is amazing, it comes with both hdmi and display port options, but the package only comes with the hdmi 2.0 cord.

Onboard Monitor Menu: Yes it is accessible by a joystick, plus you have 3 buttons to help you select different categories or customizable modes.
Frame and Edges: 0.5 inches from the edge we start to see the screen. This means that 1 inch would separate two of these monitors side-by-side. This is fairly decent for a dual setup, I would personally invest in a 2k/4k monitor setup to bundle with this monitor.
Viewing Angles: This monitor truly has very sharp and stunning viewing angles, furthermore it is perfect for doing editing on a budget.
Brightness or Luminance: Extremely bright in fact, it is crazy bright. I have mine running on 0% brightness with night mode enable and it is still bright. I would have to tweak the settings outside of the brightness to dim the light on this monitor. This is an LCD LED backlight panel.
Response Rate: HDMI 2.0 and a display cable out of the box that supports up to 165hz. I have not experienced any form of ghosting, I do not have a GPU so I am currently running a Ryzen 2200g APU. I have played Apex Legends, COD War Zone, and League of Legends. I am unable to test other games as I am without the RTX 3080 at this time.
Adjustability: The monitor is able to tilt up or down. You would need a mounting stand to support the landscape view. This desktop mount is very sturdy.
Display: Full 1080p FHD LCD LED Backlight Screen. This monitor arrived in a thick Styrofoam package. 100% free of dead pixels, I could not believe it myself 0 dead pixels. I have friends who bought pricey monitors that came with dead pixels. Surprisingly I have none of those issues. I did however noticed minor IPS glow. I would say very small amounts as it is almost not noticeable until the screen is pitch black and you have to stare in the left corner to see it. Comfortable on the eyes and suitable for gaming for extended periods.
Monitor Size: 27-inch monitors range between 24”-25” wide and 14”-18” tall depending on how they measure the height. This monitor checks out as a 27-inch monitor based on my measurement check.
Monitor Appearance (Build Quality): Black color finish with red accents at the stand, barely noticeable. Blue lit indicator when the monitor is on and dark orange when the monitor is off. I feel that ACER could have included some red glow backlight on the back, or a fancy imprint on the plastic to make it fancy.
Speakers: Very good if you want to watch YouTube or listen to calm music while working/studying. I would not recommend them for your daily driver but they are nice to have. They are not so loud about 93 Decibels between the two of them.
Contrast Ratio: Dark blacks satisfactory but could have been better. It is an IPS monitor which helps to deliver quality images. I have not yet adjusted the contrast because I am happy with the way it is.
Bezels: Extremely narrow and handly noticeable unless you use some stretchy wallpaper. Stuck pixels nope 0%.
8 Months of Use Update:
(Still I am unable to buy a 6900xt or an RTX 3080 at this point, I am thinking of getting a PS5 for this monitor until then)
HDMI cable is rather unstable after 8 months, as a true chad I found out that watching some videos from some sites affected the image delivered to the display. It would need me to plug it out an in again, strangely this was not the monitor going bad it was just that the HDMI was not of that good aftermarket quality.
Brightness – The nits on this thing is insane, very bright for some reason but I like it.
I would give this Monitor a 9/10 for 1080p gaming.
TrustedAmazonShopper –
I had to put the brightness to 100 and still looks kinda dim.
