I bought this (£25.80) and the Maybelline New York Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara, Volumising & Lengthening Mascara (£6.60) at the same time. When i received them i tried them at the same time, one on each eye. To be totally honest there wasnt any difference, except the Honest Beauty mascara took longer to apply because of the 2 layer faffing around. My eyelashes are short and thin and i did have lovely eyelashes after applying them both
I will go with the £6.60 Maybelline next time and save £25.80

I like that this mascara is EWG verified. Unfortunately, it smudged slightly for me, and I did not think it gave me much volume. I will probably try one of their other mascaras but likely won’t purchase this one again.

I already have long lashes but this mascara makes them AMAZINGLY long. 2step mascara, goes on extremely well. So we’ll that over applied my first time using it and had to use a dry brush to tame it down. If you want super thick dark long look you can achieve it with this but I prefer a more natural look.

I don’t write reviews on anything, but this product I had to write about. I have had so much trouble finding a good mascara that doesn’t smudge or damage my eyelashes. I love that it’s eco friendly and easily washable. I live in Arizona. It survives heat no problem. The only time I notice it smudges is if you don’t use the primer on your lashes before applying. So as long as you do both you’re set. I’ve seen some reviews complain that it comes off in water. It’s not a waterproof mascara and has never claimed to be one, so if that’s what you’re looking for…unfortunately you’re in the wrong place. I personally have a waterproof mascara that I use when I’m swimming and then I use honest mascara for regular everyday use. I also think it is great value for the price. I wish I didn’t go through it so quickly but it’s made my eyelashes so long and healthy, it feels lightweight, and doesn’t smudge. I’ll take that over a cheap mascara any day.

I absolutely LOVE this mascara! I end up using the base on just my upper lashes and it is so amazing. Nothing crazy or over the top, just a really solid lengthening with a touch of volume. However my one qualm is the fact that when I cry, it stings my eyes pretty badly. I’m not talking like a down pour of tear either, it just takes a wee bit of standard crying to make it sting. Honestly though I put up with it because I love every other aspect. I mean the stuff stays on all day even after I’ve had some tears and they dried up.

This is a good formula, though it does clump together a bit. It’s light and applies easily. The applicator brush is horrible though and is the reason why the lashes clump together. I use a brush from another mascara to use it.

My requirements are: sensitive, EWG approved ingredients, easy to apply, easy off, and of course looks good, wears well. This checks all the boxes and some I didn’t know I needed/wanted that put this over the top to be my new favorite. One end of the wand is for conditioning. At first I thought this was annoying, but it helped me big time with three things. One, I didn’t realize that some of the stubborn curly lashes at the outside of my eyes were dry. Now that they get conditioned before I put on mascara, they look nice. Two, it actually makes it easier for me to put on mascara now, because it just glides on after the conditioner. Three, I think because of the layer of the conditioner under the mascara, the mascara comes off easier than ever. I use organic cold pressed virgin coconut oil to remove it. Again, I have sensitive skin, so I have to be careful. I’m really happy!

I have used this product before so I know what to expect. The product arrived sealed but upon opening was completely dried up. (actually both mascaras, two different brands, were dried up). A small inconvenience until I went to return only to find out that this one is not returnable. What?! Save your money.

This mascara is very good for lengthening when you use the primer. I’m not sure I’ve noticed a volume/thickness increase, but have noticed lash length does look longer. I usually give it about 30 seconds for the primer to dry before using the mascara, otherwise it does clump a bit. I would also recommend wiggling both wands along your lashes during application to avoid clumps. In general I do like this, but noticed a few other important points: it will definitely run a lot if you get it wet (e.g. rain or crying), it will flake or smudge a little by the end of the day – especially if you rub your eyes, and while it does not make my eyes itch, I found it best to put in my contacts AFTER the mascara is fully dry. I’ve accidentally got some mascara a few times in my eye with the wand/trying to smooth out clumps and it totally made my contacts (daily wear type) useless after that. That all probably sounds like the mascara isn’t worth it, however I still actually like this mascara. I’d say it’s perfect for an average day’s wear, just not an extended day or in some cases. It does come off fully for me.

I love this mascara. My lashes look so long. It has great wear as well. Very good price point and you can trust the brand in my opinion. If you want your eyes to pop, and don’t mind the application process of the primer first, this is a great product! I would gift to my teenage niece.
