Maybe it’s just me, but I didn’t know chlorine would strip out hair dye. It does. Other than that small issue, I love this brand. I makes my hair super shiny and barely has any bad smells. It comes out rich and vibrant every time and doesn’t fry my hair either. I highly recommend this brand!

Went over my mismatched, grown-out hair very well. If your hair is on the thinner end, despite what the product says, you may only need one box to cover your whole head.

Dying my hair with this was so messy but the result is worth it! I have really long hair so i bought two bottles but I only needed 1 1/2. The color is really cool, looks black in a darker environment and then when theres light its a lovely purple red shade (black cherry). Compared to another red ive had before, this one comes out very little in the shower. Also i was surprised at how it didnt damage my hair, usually after dye it will be so fragile and dry, its not the case so far! They should include gloves in the packaging

I wasn’t able to find a helpful review about the glossy steel color.. so I’m posting this.
I tested on human hair extensions, black, brown and blonde.
If you want the color that is on the box, you want to start with darker hair. It turns out a very attractive charcoal result. However, if you are starting with blonde hair, the result is more of a dusty violet color, as you can see in the photos. Hope this will help clarify any confusion.

I was nervous to try this because so many brands have completely failed at black dye. The brand I usually use has been hard to find in the shade I prefer so I reluctantly tried this brand in 1.1 raven.
It’s great! It dyed my hair nice and jet black, the mix didn’t stink up my bathroom and my hair doesn’t smell like a chemical mess after. I’ll definitely use this one again

I love the vibrant reddish brown color; no purple base. This product conditions my hair, leaving it shiny & soft.
I don’t like any other over the counter reddish brown hair color.
After 3 weeks, my grey starts showing. Don’t know if my hair grows out too fast or if color does not last.
Some color washes off 1-3 washes after applying hair color. Also causes hair loss.

If you’re looking for the “blackest black” hair color with cool undertones, this is IT.
I recently switched from Revlon Colorsilk (shade “natural blue black”) since it recently started to make my scalp itchy, even though Revlon was my go-to hair color for the past 7 years.
The scent was very light and easily tolerable. The color payoff is amazing, and I had 0 itch or irritation. This is literally the most perfect color I’ve wanted forever. I hope Schwarzkopf never stops making this stuff!!🖤

I love this product, I’ve used it for about 6 years now and I’ve never had any problems with it. The color stays bright after several washes. I color every 6 weeks and it’s great. It does not burn your scalp and I think the smell is not as bad as other products.
