Add your hair product to your hand before the purple stuff, then you’re hand won’t get stained. Works nicely, nice and subtle to use when I shampoo and condition my hair. I leave it on for like 2 mins, I could leave it on a lot longer. This product got a lot of bad talk for arriving broken, mine was fine. But it was shipped in a padded envelope, should be shipped in a small box. Love it though!

I’ve been a super bright blonde my whole life and recently went a little darker and instantly regretted it. I’m now making my way slowly back up to platinum but I’m in those pesky brass stages so I’m trying to tone it best I can until my next hair appt.
I have a super strong purple mask but it’s very drying so I saw these and thought why not.
It says you can add to shampoo but I have curly hair so I rarely wash it so I skipped that but put it in a deep conditioner in the shower and even when it was wet it still looked brassy even after 10 minutes in.
I decided to put it in my leave-in conditioner and woke up the next morning and it did a pretty good job! Very surprised!
I will say though ….. I had to use a TON of it, definitely more than a few drops like full on bottle squeezes haha but oh well it works!

Works well, easy to use. I like that I can add it into my own shampoo and conditioner that I prefer to use, as other purple shampoos seem to be a bit drying for my hair.

I put this on my hair after a shower and mix it with my hair shine serum. A little goes a long way, so tired lightly!

My stylist recommended these drops for in between toning sessions. I have a ton of purple shampoos but since I didn’t have a great purple conditioner, she basically instructed me to just buy this and add to my favorite conditioners and treatment masks.
The instructions say to add 3-5 drops to a handful of product in your palm—my hair is longer than my waist so that is definitely not enough. I actually just poured about 1/4 of the OGX bottle into my conditioner bottle and shook it up really well. I also added some to my shampoo too, to make it extra pigmented. The video shows before and after just one wash.
NOTE: I personally think this product is drying, although I did use much more than indicated. I deducted one star because I lost a LOT more hair in the shower after shampooing than normal when I used this product—not sure if that is a direct result of the product at all, but something to look out for. Picture attached for reference.
Asides from that, which may or may not be related, I highly recommend this product for anyone trying to remove brassy tones!
TIP: You’ll know you are using too much if your hair starts tinting purple, but just shampoo with a clarifying shampoo to strip some of the purple out if that happens.

I add this to me own conditioner and let it set for a few minutes before rinsing. Keeps my blonde more “cool and ashy” and saves me money. Love that its versatile. Use it once a week. My hair dresser recommends adding a leave in conditioner afterwards because it can cause drying.

Most of the silver toner shampoos and conditioners are extremely scented. This mixes in easily to my conditioner and has only a tiny bit of fragrance to it by the time it’s mixed in. Works well.
