You might think it’s pricey but this is a great product! I get daily complements on my “tan”. The key to no streaks is using disposable gloves and rubbing it in thoroughly. Don’t be frightened by the dark color in the tube. It’s a beautiful golden tan!

Fake tan… it is fake!! I’ve used this brand for years and you can clearly see the difference between the tubes. The small tube with tan that resembles cow crap is what came of this seller, it is literally yellow/green and watery. Save your money.

I love this product and have been using it for years. However I’m sorry to see that the dark bronzer is now only available in the Mouse. I purchased it and returned it very staining to the hands. I do not want to use gloves. I’ve then bought the medium cream which I love just as well. Out of any tanning lotion I have ever used this is by far the best. A little pricey but it goes a long ways. I like also that I’m able to wash it off my hands I do not need to wear gloves. It spreads on quite evenly without any effort not leaving any streaks if you’re sure to blend it. I can actually put it on and shower two times before I have to reapply. By that I mean I do not scrub my body where the lotion has been I literally let the water run off of me and I pat myself dry. I wash the important parts LOL. I’ve then applied light Body lotion. I also love the fact that unless you’re sweating it really doesn’t come off. Not even when you’re sleeping. I have had spray tans and woke up in the morning to have my bed brown. I do not have that happen with this lotion. Give it a try I think it will be your favorite like I said it’s a little pricey but I think it’s worth it. One bottle last me the whole summer.

Fake product. Too orange straight out of tube, poor consistency, didn’t apply well, not the right smell. Reported to Amazon and refunded. See picture of this product (labelled fake) next to genuine.

I finally have the tan I’ve always wanted. This Bronzing Lotion gives me a warm brown that has people asking me where I went on vacation. It’s that natural. I apply it with my hands and there are NO STREAKS. Just wash your hands very quickly. This lotion gives instant color and it has no foul smell. I use it twice a week to keep up the tan. Also, this does not rub off on clothes as much as the St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse did. It also seems less drying, but I do use a body moisturizer after it “sets” awhile. I really prefer this St. Tropez Bronzing Lotion to the Mousse which I have been using for the past two years. I realize that people have very different reactions to self tanners, and I’ve tried a lot of them, but for me this is the best one so far.

This review is about the product NOT the seller. I have used St Tropez bronzing lotion for years and it has been great. I am fair skinned and it’s the only product that didn’t make me look orange. However, they have slightly changed the formula in the last 9 months which has changed the guide color more orange. A spokesman for St Tropez said it didn’t effect the outcome but I have tried it a couple of times now and the final color is more orange. I now have to find a different tanning product! 😡😡😡

I like this lotion. If I use disposable gloves, I am able to get it smooth. I won’t have lines or streaks. I love the color and the compliments I get when I use it.

As a very pale person, this gives me a really nice golden glow. One application is subtle, so it’s buildable. Very convincing color and EXTREMELY even application. I don’t really have to worry about ankles, elbows, or feet looking funny with this one.
I moisturize with a regular lotion first, then apply with vinyl gloves instead of the mitt, because I suspect the mitt would use a lot of extra product. With the price of this stuff, I conserve where I can. That being said, one bottle has lasted 4-5 applications so far, and it’s about halfway full now. Still waaay cheaper and easier than getting a spray tan.
Cons: This stuff still has that self tanner smell when developing – – never believe them when they say there’s no smell. And you will feel sticky. Best to do around bedtime and rinse it off in the morning. The bronzer in the lotion will get on your clothes. Those are the only downsides.

So I bought the lotion of St. Tropez instead of the mouse. I’ve seen and heard alot about how great this brand is so I sucked it up and spent the money.. Let me say, the color comes out amazing but the application part of it SUCKS!! It takes me almost an hour to rub it in and smooth out wherever I’m trying to blend. I feel extremely greasy/oily after I put it on. Again I wasn’t paying attention and somehow bought the lotion, not the mouse like I wanted, so maybe the mouse is better. But I don’t know if I’m even willing to spend money on another expensive bottle from this brand when the process of putting it on is almost not worth it. Super disappointed, would not recommend!!
