Sam –
very usefully for every day use
Megan & John –
This cover is pretty sleek and certainly has a premium feel. The built-in magnets for propping up the tablet are simply awesome. I read a review elsewhere that the magnets were weak, but that was not the case with mine. The tablet fits snug in the cover and there’s no worry that it’ll fall out.
There area few, albeit minor, downsides This case doesn’t offer much, if any, protection from falls or drops. It also seems to collect finger prints and residue on the the outside of the cover. Thankfully, the cover cleans fairly easily.
Overall, I’m happy with the purchase. The magnet prop up system is just so easy, seamless, and functional that I can ignore the other issues. I just need to be VERY careful not to drop it.

I’ve purchased the Tab A 7″ and now Tab A 10.4. One a gift and the 2nd fills in while other things are charging or special features work better on the Tab A 10.4. Like most all electrics one does everything yet somethings just work better on a different software.

This is a nice cover with a good magnetic edge to it. The only problem that I have is that the tablet doesn’t stay in very well. It doesn’t snap into place like I was expecting. So, be careful when using this, your tablet may fall out.

Best one for the money

As a stand, it works really well. The magnets keep it upright quite well. My only complaint is that when the cover is closed, it doesn’t appear to have any magnets to keep the cover on…it will fall off quite easily, unlike other tablets that I’ve had.
But, the fact that it actually works very well in the stand makes this cover make up for that issue as most covers don’t work well at all when using the stands…they’re mostly useless.
I’d rather have a cover that actually supports the tablet while in various angles in the stand than one that has a strong magnet cover to keep the cover closed.
I mostly wanted a tablet to video chat hands-free, and to do that I needed a way to prop the tablet up, and therefore a stand to make that happen…this cover does that very well.

Excelente producto, me llegó un día antes de lo estimado, buen precio para México ya que hay fundas Samsung hasta de 1000 pesos, buen material.

Not worth the original price Samsung wanted for it, but it’s nice!
Had a bit of a problem with the tablet sliding out when I stood it up, but a thick rubber band around the tablet and part of the cover solved the problem just fine!

The setup is nice with magnetic pieces that hold the tablet at two different viewing angles, plus the cover can be folded flat behind the tablet for handheld mode. The materials feel a little cheap for something that has a $50 retail price.
On sale, the price is less of an issue than the poor fit of the case. There is just the tiniest lip on each of the three plastic clips designed to hold the tablet in place, presumably done that way to help the cover lay flush against the screen when closed. But the plastic clips have to be flexible for the tablet to be inserted, and then there’s not enough pressure to help keep the tablet in place.
I was able to help the situation by forcefully bending the straight plastic clip (which made some rather unsettling creaks and cracks) so that the case wasn’t quite so loose. It feels like either a design oversight or some issues with the production of the case that a solution like this would even be needed. A slightly larger lip or a tighter fit would fix the problem.
