I am an Android type and have a google phone. Before this device, I was about to switch to Apple for my tablet needs. I became exasperated with the big name Android tablet suppliers because their updates were few and far between, and support never lasted long. This device however came with a modern Android level (12) and with a guaranteed support life, and matches my google phone Android level. I’d prefer a more traditional sized tablet but this one works well for me.

I got this to use as a drawing kind of tablet, i didnt need anything fancy- and i trust nokia. the screen is fine and the battery life is to die for. but it doesnt work super well with the pen im using. and im not sure how to calibrate it properly or if i just need to get a better pen lol. i love the tablet anyway and now i just read comics on it. XD

After doing a lot of research on other 8ish inch Android tablets, I decided on the Nokia T10. Octacore processor, 64GB storage, and 4GB RAM. What I like: feels solid in the hands. It’s a little bit heavy for this size screen but the construction of it is nicely done. I don’t like cases and won’t put one on this. Maybe just a screen protector. The interface is responsive. Faster than I expected. The display looks nice when holding it normally. If you have it a few inches from your face you will see the pixels, but that is just a trade off. No problem using this as an e-reader or for watching movies. The screen is nice and bright. Within the 8-inch tablets at this price range, the specs are better than many that have only 32GB/ 2-3GB Ram. The guaranteed software updates were also a selling point.

Overall this is a great little tablet for the price. A much better option than a Kindle or Samsung tablet that is filled with bloatware you cannot remove. There are only 2 Nokia apps installed on this device. It is pretty snappy and responsive. There are a few things lacking however, like the screen and the speakers. Still great for kids or as an inexpensive device for reading, browsing, and videos.
Pros:
– Price is great for what you get!
– Feels solid and well made.
– Simple and no bloatware – pretty much stock Android with only 2 extra apps.
Cons:
– The screen isn’t super bright and isn’t the highest resolution – can seem blotchy at times.
– Night Shade makes the screen green/blue, not warm colored.
– Speakers get fairly loud but sound very tinny. They also fire out to the sides instead of at you so anyone sitting next to you will hear the audio better than you can unless you cup your hands around the speakers to direct the sound to yourself.
– Only 2 years of Android system upgrades. 3 should be minimum 5 should be standard.

No side loading needed on a solid price cheap android tablet. This is where the nexus 7 tablet was able to shine. Should be due for a refresh soon but, it’s been worth it to me.

So far, set up is going well. Love that it didn’t come preloaded with a bunch of junk. Easily paired Bluetooth keyboard. Glad it has the plug in for headphones.

This is so far (Oct-12-2022) the best 8″ Android tablet at any price. The fact that it is so cheap is a bonus.
It is a way better option than Amazon 8″ fire which costs almost half the price, but for that cheap price you only get half the RAM (2GB instead of 4GB) and Amazon constantly bombards you with adds. On top of that the an Android app that you like is NOT available on Amazon store AND YOU CAN NOT USE GOOGLE PLAY STORE with and Amazon tablet. You have to use the Amazon store and you cannot remove the Amazon bloatware apps from your tablet. Did I mention that Amazon NEVER upgrades the version of Android they use in their tablets?
With the Nokia T10 you pay about twice as much as for a fire HD8, but you get the following benefits:
– No adds
– No bloatware at all!
– Free Android 12, with 2 years of OS upgrades and 3 years of monthly security updates. This means that in 2024 when Google ships Android 14 you still get the lates and greatest version of Android for free!
– Standard access to Google-play store like any normal Android device.
– Incredibly FAST tablet. No waiting at all when launching apps.
– Solid construction on a tablet that evidently is built to last.
– Simple no surprise, no ‘special launcher’ or any other gimmicks that vendors like Samsung, Amazon and others use. This is real, plain vanilla, standard Android.
– With monthly security updates guaranteed until 2025.
I got also the case, because it makes it easier to hold or leave standing on a desk while you watch it.
The European Union is considering a law that all phones and tablets should have 5 years support, but this law may take a year or two to pass. So far the best you can get from a vendor is what you get from this Nokia T10, or with a stock Google Pixel phone or tablet. Even Apple makes all their devices obsolete in three years or less.
So, until the law changes (maybe in 2025) deals like free Android 12, with 2 years of OS upgrades and 3 years of monthly security updates is about the best we can get.
100% Android.

Great little tablet. I use it for watching shows and listening to music. The built-in speakers are fine but I use a Bluetooth speaker. I have a 1tb SD card almost full and it plays fine. Also powerful enough for a ps1 emulator maybe even gamecube or ps2.
