   Es increible el rendimiento siendo un equipo de entrada, corre todos los juegos actuales en ultra a buenos fps.
   Es la mejor opcion si quieres dar un salto generacional de tarjeta grafica.

   No la compres si se encuentra a mas 1200 dolares, ya que con un mayor presupuesto en el mercado hay mejores opciones, como la msi pulse gf66, la asus rog strix g16 o la asus tuf dash 15

   First and foremost this is a standard entry level gaming laptop. You can throw a lot at it and it won’t budge, however, do be mindful that this is still a laptop. Cooling will be the primary issue as is the case with most other laptops.

   The good
   – The version I received came with a 10 core 12th gen i7, a dedicated 4050 GPU with 6GB of VRAM. This is more than sufficient for my gaming, photoshop, programming, and productions needs. I debated splurging on a laptop with a larger 17″ screen, for my purposes though 15″ is enough. The brightness and clarity are great. 144Hz is an excellent feature, but considering the nature of this machine I would prefer 120Hz. Allow me to clarify, I understand Hz has everything to do with the screen refresh rate. I also understand most games can be capped around 120FPS, by capping the two it can allow cooling headroom.

   The mediocre
   – at $1K is 512GB of SSD space the best you can really do? I immediately took my machine apart and installed an aftermarket 4TB crucial NVMe and a 4TB Samsung 980 Evo, in addition to replacing the RAM from 16GB to 64GB. I understand this sounds like overkill, and it is… to an extent. Beyond gaming I run virtualization software and edit photography shots for my side gig. Running virtualized labs exhausts a lot of resources, and due to the nature of travel associated with my work, I can’t always utilize my desktop. Audio isn’t the greatest on this machine either, the sounds are washed out due to the speakers being place on the bottom.

   The bad
   – expandability. This is 2023, disk space should be expandable by now without voiding the warranty. I am well aware I can purchase an external drive, but it blows my mind that modern day devices have the ability to be customized – e.g Disk space/RAM, etc, but the warranty must be void in order to do so. These are relatively low risk modifications.

   The ugly
   – cooling, 100%. MSI BIOS by default runs turbo, add Windows 11 to the mix and you have a deadly concoction on your hands. This toasty boi almost peaked around 92C. Yes, modern day equipment can run this hot, will it stand the test of time though? I am not one to take that risk. I managed to take 20C off of my average temps, which should hopefully increase the longevity of my laptop.

   What would my suggestion to the manufacturer be?
   – First and foremost disable turbo, it’s unnecessary. The laptop is certainly capable of performing under extreme workloads but it’s not exactly practical when the temperature is teetering around it’s throttle limit.

   – A thicker base for a more robust heatsink. I know this is counterintuitive to the specific design of this product since it is supposed to be thing. This could expand the life of the product though.

   Suggestions for the consumer
   – Turn off turbo in BIOS, it requires enabling advanced mode but the rewards are worth it.

   – Get rid of Windows 11, it’s absolute garbage in its current state. Maybe by the next iteration they will have fixed it. For now, install Windows 10 via USB or install a user friendly Linux Distro like Mint, Debian, or Ubuntu.

   – Purchase an aftermarket laptop stand/cooler. I don’t have any particular one to suggest since I’m still in the search for something I think will perform the job correctly.

   Final thoughts
   This is a solid 7.5/10 laptop. It’s not bleeding edge by today’s standards, but it will do more than just get you by especially if you are a student on a budget who enjoys games on the side. This laptop also serves as a great multipurpose device with a few component modifications. That all depends on if you are willing to risk voiding the warranty or not. As an IT professional I suggest not doing so if you are not comfortable with the thought of that.

   para empezar el envió demoro mucho y llego en perfectas condiciones, las especificaciones son correctas a excepciones de la descripción ya que dice Core i5 y en realidad trae un i7 de 12ª generación, solo cuenta con un ventilador que enfría a la gráfica y al procesador aunque no es mucho problema ya que el ventilador logra temperaturas muy buenas aun en juegos que usen mucha potencia (en su máxima potencia hace mucho ruido).
   cuenta con un ssd que ofrece muy buenas velocidades de igual forma tiene un espacio para un disco ssd sata
   cuenta con dos módulos de ram expandibles hasta 64 gb.
   el sonido no me pareció el mejor ya que a mi parecer es muy bajo aun estando al 100%
   todavía no la he probado mucho pero como primeras impresiones es una muy buena idea tenerla como opción al momento de comprar una laptop.
   espero les sirva de algo 🙂

   Delivery and transaction was very good. Packaging and state of computer was excellent. I’m not convinced though this is a powerful computer for the category its in. It’s not bad but I have a Lenovo T430s from 2012 that is almost as good in speed of everyday computing. I am not a gamer so I was a bit surprised it did not exceed my old laptop in an obvious way.
   I set up windows 11 but bypassed the aggressive account log in. Not overly impressed with Windows so I dual installed Linux on it and it is much better. I had some issues with the wifi card being very new so had to install wifi drivers to get the linux os to work with wifi. After that its been very good.
   Only thing that I am a bit annoyed at is the fan. For normal computing, browsing internet, the fan kicks on and is very noticeable. My older laptop is quiet as a church mouse. Im almost regretting the purchase, but I know its a well built machine.
   I like the metal casing and build of it. I had to look up how to open it up to adjust the ram. I put in another 8gb of ram to make it 16 and had a spare hdd to put inside the extra empty slot. I like that the OS runs on the SSD and I have extra storage with the HDD. Opening the case though is not easy. Not sure why they make it difficult. My older laptop is so easy to get to the ram and hard drive. For a gamer, I would think that the computer would be more accessible for customization and tweaking.
   3 stars for the experience. Not thrilled, not disappointed. Just meh…

   The tl;dr is this is a good gaming laptop for only like $900 and a ram upgrade is recommended.

   For the price the GF63 thin is good at what it does and you’ll be happy with it. I use it for gaming while at work so I’ve had plenty of time to test it out. First off most games run really really well on this since the display is only 1080p and it has a laptop 3050 in it. When I bought it I was worried the 3050 wouldn’t be enough to play games like tarkov, dying light, back 4 blood, or the forest since these are all games that, without fine tuning settings, can be hard to run with mid level specs. I was pleasantly surprised with how well they ran. The high refresh rate display is buttery smooth and feels good in games.
   This is a thin laptop, which everything in the machine revolves around but I’ll start by talking about cooling. The laptop has one fan that has one large intake with a smaller one near the exhaust and two exhausts with one on the back and one on the side. The two on the sides have the fins with heat pipes running through them. It honestly isn’t clear if the smaller intake really is an intake or an exhaust but when I hold my hand near it while the fan is running it feels like an intake. It’s a small vent though so it doesn’t matter all that much. This really isn’t enough cooling for the cpu (10750H in my case) because under heavy loads the cpu often reaches temps above 95C. For this I would recommend a cooling pad to promote airflow. The 3050 however remains pretty cool because it’s utilization is usually pretty low. The cpu is definitely the bottlenecking factor here so keep that in mind when deciding between the version with the less powerful cpu. I was eyeing the $800 one with the weaker cpu and I’m glad I got this one. Next I’ll go over the ram and storage. My model came with 8 gigs of ram and 500 gigs of storage. This amount of ram is not enough for the cpu and for the games I play it was maxing out while in game. For that I strongly recommend buying a minimum of 4 more gigs but preferably 8 more gigs. I’d recommend buying 2x8bg of some good ram (make sure they can handle running at your cpus max frequency or you’re not getting as much as you can out of the ram purchase) and don’t look back. As for the storage, if you’re like me and this isn’t your main rig 500 gigs of storage is plenty. However if you’re getting into the world of pcs and this is going to be your main rig then definitely look into some higher capacity storage. It runs and NVMe ssd but when I opened it up I forgot to look and see how many NVMe ports there were or if there were any SATA ports.

   The keys are large and have shallow press depth, with relatively light resistance. The keyboard is membrane but the keys feel responsive. The typing experience just isn’t the best, but that’s not really what this machine is for if we’re being honest. The track pad feels precise and low latency with good clicking feedback. Overall the build quality is low. Because it’s so thin the deck flex is high and the plastic is thin in many places. For the previous upgrades I mentioned you will have to take the back plate off and there are many places you can break the plastic. Use an ifixit kit or the like and use a YouTube guide so you don’t bust your back plate (watch out for the ports, the hdmi port on the back and all the io on the right side was tough for me). The thinness is really nice if your on the go a lot because it makes this thing really light. Having a big bulky gaming laptop while you’re going from class to class gets old. On the topic of being on the go, prepare to be disappointed with the battery life because it is not good. Playing games while on battery will get you less than 60 minutes of play time, idling on performance mode will get you 2 hours while idling on best battery life mode gets you 2.5 hours. Your mileage will vary depending on brightness and things like that. Overall the battery life isn’t the best but for a gaming laptop not too shabby.

   If I had any regrets in buying this it would be that I wish the cooling was better, that it had more robust build quality, and the cpu was either faster or was an 8 core so it wasn’t bottlenecking the gpu. Honestly look for a laptop with the ryzen 7 4800H and a 3050 if this is the price point that works for you. It would probably be cheaper, run cooler, and push higher frames. Kind of kicking myself for not doing that myself, so do that and don’t be like me. If you do end up buying this though, you won’t be disappointed you’ll just wish you could’ve gotten something better.
