Cable is sturdy and very good. Picture quality is excellent as well.
What you need to keep in mind is about cable management. These are quite thick and if you are planning to route them along the desk or any other plans which involve lots of bends, you may want to reconsider. It is possible but the cable will resist you before succumbing to your will

It’s basic, it works, and it’s Amazon. Immediately worked with 165hz 1080p output

Just a heads up, this cable seems to work great, at least for 4k60 (haven’t tested 8k) but it’s extremely thick. I only just managed to fit in into the cable management on my monitor arm, and I’ll probably never be able to get it out without destroying the cable. So if the thickness of the cable matters to you, I’d recommend going elsewhere. I don’t know if all 8k cables are like this or not.

It’s a displayport cable. It’s short (which is what I ordered), and it works! No lock clips on it, so you can just pull it out like an HDMI would.

I bought this cable in order to connect my 4k displays to my thunderbolt dock. The cable does exactly what’s promised and I can certify that it will happily send a 4k signal at 85hz (this is where my displays top out) without the slightest issue.
The cable feels nice and sturdy and like all DP cables locks in place meaning it won’t fall out accidentally. I legitimately cannot see why you would spend more money on a cable. Amazon is clearly a monopoly and is pricing other smaller companies out of the market but it’s hard to deny the sheer value of this cable.

Perfect for my monitor across my desk. Love how well it works.

It performs as a DisplayPort cable should. It’s thick, which makes it a little inflexible, but it’s not a big deal. My one gripe is that it doesn’t lock into the port like literally every other DisplayPort cable on the market does. I thought that was an unspoken standard, but this one doesn’t have it. Other than that, it’s fine.

It blows my mind how good this cable is for how cheap it is. Sturdy (bulky), cheap, grade A specs. I doubt you can find a better bang for the buck cable than this. I’m so impressed, I’m actually leaving a review once in a blue moon.

Cable is extremely thick, thicker than any other DP 1.4 cable I have. May want to return as it may not work well with cable Management.

This cable is a good monitor cable that I wanted to work in “deep colour” and be accurately calibrated. It was fine for that purpose (2K not even 4K, only at least 10-12bit colour). The cable is on the higher diameter variety and I have an old VGA cable about the same. It isn’t as inflexible as some make out. Note the plugs do not have the tiny sprung loaded claws that you release with a button if you want to extract the plug from its socket. It means they are easier to pull out. Seems OK hanging vertically down out of my monitor socket. You may see this as a plus or minus. Maybe that’s the basic bit.
A star off as the cable and plugs are without any markings. If I were to look at this in years to come I won’t have a clue it is an 8K cable. Also the address label was stuck on the box on top of the product labelling which gives the spec of the cable inside. I can’t peel it off without tearing the label beneath to check what it is I have received. Basically I’ve got a fat black cable that works.
Dear Amazon – please stick your delivery labels on the opposite side to the product label on Amazon Basics product boxes. Thanks. Or put a little label inside the box or get your cables marked

I got everything the discription said I’d get. It’s sturdy enough, solid length, zero wiggle. A good cable and no need to spend an exorbitant cost for such a simple need.
