Works great!
It has two sides, the side with Revlon texts/letters/writing is the coarse side for filing down and use the other side to smooth out everything.
Only $0.10 each.

I bought this product twice already. They have good sandy texture to them on the red side and a smoother texture on the beige side. I like that they’re disposable as the reusable ones gross me out after a while of using them.

I have bought others before that didn’t work as well. These work great and are a good size too.

These are the only inexpensive files that work. I bought trim line because that’s all I could find in stores and half of them broke as I got them out of the package. These are great! They’re especially good for being small enough to be portable in your handbag and if your tweezers lose their grip, you simply rub one against the end five times in the same direction and your tweezers work again.

Someone stole my makeup bag a few weeks ago and I can’t find a replacement for the fancier 4 sided nail board I had anywhere. But I needed something to smooth my thumb nail Now, and local stores were no help. I’m glad I thought to look on Amazon, and my nail is okay now so my anxiety level has dropped.
I had an accident with my thumb about 3 years ago (almost lost the nail totally), and the nail now grows out with a couple of weird ridges from base to tip. If I don’t smooth out those ridges flat every few weeks (my nails grow slowly), one ridge in particular gets higher and then starts to crack open top to bottom. I can’t stand that level of pain, so when I say I need to smooth my thumb nail Now (after weeks of trying to ignore it while trying to find emery boards like the ones that were stolen), I mean it!
These disposable, less expensive emery boards saved my thumb nail, prevented it from splitting and getting infected, lowered my stress level, and saved me so much grief. They work, even if they don’t do the finer buffing fancier boards offer. Sometimes basic, no frills saves the day 🙂

These are good! When I’m unable to find what I need at the dollar store I go to these. They do the job and I wish they lasted longer but everything has a lifetime.!

It’s a shame that these came off general sale in the UK years ago, and now Revlon only make these 4.75″ (12cm) Compact emery boards, an inch shorter than the originals. However, there’s something about them that do a much better job than any others I can find so it’s great to find this mini-bulk buy which will last a very long time!

I thought these were two sided. They’re also extremely coarse.
Janis –
Good for everyday filing and it fits nicely in your purse

does the job well. Worth the money.

Okay, yes, they are nail files. But trust me, there are some really crappy ones out there that don’t last that long. These have been great and I get a lot of use out of each file.
When they become unusable for my nails, I use them on other odds & ends for light filing.
Do I recommend them and would I buy them again? YES!!!
KC –
These are the best emery boards and are hard to find in my area for some reason. They work best for thin nails.

I used to buy an emery board from a local beauty supply store that was exactly what I wanted. Rough on one side for filing nails and smooth on the other for smoothing tips and little nicks. I have been trying to find something like them since they were discontinued but no luck. They claimed to do that, but were inferior in every way. These Revlon emery boards do exactly what I want. The only reason I didn’t give them five stars is that they are very small and I don’t know how long they’ll last.
