I’ve been on the hunt for good face sunscreen for what feels like forever. I was putting off buying this one because of the price… But I finally did and I’m so glad. It’s worth every penny. I have sensitive, dry skin and this is just perfect. It spreads nicely and doesn’t leave my face oily looking like a lot of sunscreens do. I haven’t had any issues with breakouts either. This is my forever face sunscreen.

Although I can’t give a full comprehensive review of this product as this is my first day of use, I am AMAZED at how this feels on my skin. I’m embarrassed to say that most of my adult life I have avoided sunscreen because even at 52, I have acne prone skin, blackheads and any kind of sunscreen I’ve ever used has either made me break-out, feel like a grease slick or has made my makeup slip off. I literally hate it. But THIS! I was wary. I have never paid this much for sunscreen or really any “beauty product”, but because of the high volume of great reviews I thought I would give it a try. So far, I’m incredibly impressed. I’ve worn it all day (it’s now 9:20 pm) and my skin still feels great to the touch (not greasy or matte) and my makeup still looks fresh!! My only negative is the price. This is awfully expensive for facial sunscreen but given the sensitivity and reactivity of my skin it’s an investment i’m willing to make. Regarding some of the reviews about receiving counterfeit product. Mine looks completely legit. There are usually telltale signs and I see none. It was well wrapped in the box with a seal over the bottle to prevent leakage, no spelling errors on the box or product and overall the packaging looks like quality. Make sure to buy from the actual Elta MD seller on Amazon. Perhaps the key is to avoid third party sellers.

This sunscreen is amazing. I have used many this by far is my new holy grail. I have sensitive skin and rosacea. I apply this under my makeup. I have not had any sensitivity or skin breakouts. It absorbs well is non greasy and not sticky or tacky feeling. There is no color to it. Don’t hesitate to buy. I’m a Florida girl and sunscreen is a must always !

Tengo dermatitis perioral, y todo, TODO, me saca granos. Este es el único que no.
Si está extra seca o sensible mi piel, o estoy teniendo un flare up la sensación de “frescura” que tiene este bloqueador es un poco molesta, sin embargo la mayor parte del tiempo se siente bien.
Me gusta que el dispensador saca todo lo que necesitas para el rostro y cuello, es ligero y tiene un buen aroma a (bloqueador genérico).
No me encanta que tiene un ingrediente que es conocido por dañar los océanos, pero es este el que me hace bien+está disponible para mí. Por eso le doy 4 estrellas.
Sí leve deja un brillo, pero nada horrible.
ps. No vale la pena comprarlo cuando está a $1000, sólo lo compro cuando está a $800 que es un poco menos que el precio normal.

DESPUES DE MUCHO TIEMPO USNDO ESTE PRODUCTO TENGO UN PROBLEMA.
Al apretar la parte para que salga la crema NO SALE NADA a pesar que lo aprete varias veces .A proposito no es necesario porque conozco el producto .Lo uso por prescripción medica todas las mañanas .
UN TANTO MAS FRUSTANTE aun porque dice que mi fecha de devolución de este producto venció el domingo 14 de mayo ( dia que estaba de regreso de vacaciones por lo cual no sabría que pasaría esto.
NUNCA DEVOLVI NADA A AMAZON en los años que mi familia lo utiliza casi a diario pero yo NO SE COMO DEVOLVER algo . Ademas aparentemente ya no se puede .Podrian ayudarme con esto ?

Amazon is the official Canadian distributor of this product, no they are not counterfeit. Make sure you are purchasing directly from Amazon and not a reseller. This is by far the best facial sunscreen I have ever used. It’s so lightweight, completely matt, has no white cast, and works beautifully under makeup. Yes it has a bit of a smell but it fades almost immediately. There is no added frangrance which for me is very important. I love that it has niacinimide in it. I have sensitive, eczema-prone skin but I can use this on my eyelids without any issue. 100% recommend it.

Ive been using for about a year… keep trying to find cheaper alternative but honestly nothing compares so I’m hooked. This sunscreen leaves my skin so glowy and doesn’t break me out. Sits very well under makeup (Este Lauder Double Wear Foundation and NYX Bare With Me concealer). I have acne prone skin and eczema.. this sunscreen doesn’t irritate me at all! Definitely recommend if you’re sensitive. No artificial scent, just a typical faint sunscreen smell. I’ve noticed I don’t get dark spots after a pimple since using this sunscreen. 10/10

I have normal/combination skin and this product made my normally smooth skin, break out in red, itchy bumps. My skin is embarrassingly rough. I am extremely disappointed. I have tried another SPF from Elta MD before and this did not happen. I am starting to question if this is a legitimate Elta MD product. Also, the product I received does not have an expiry date. Either way I will not be purchasing this from here again. My face still hasn’t recovered!

This product has a chemical in it that I try to avoid, however, the complicated presentations of the many various products make it difficult to avoid the products with “Octinoxate”. Not pleased with the lack of response from the seller. The other products I purchased were of very good quality but alas I will look for a different brand of sunscreen. A large waste of money on this product.

I have tried many brands. This is the best for my very sensitive skin. It goes on clear and gives good protection. My husband hates to use sunscreen on his face because he says they feel greasy. I can get him to wear this one!

I was skeptical about spending so much on a sunscreen however I truly believe this is worth your money. This sunscreen has become a part of my daily routine and I look forward to applying it each morning. I struggle with acne and rosacea and this does not irritate my skin in the slightest. It also absorbs quickly into my skin so I do not have to wait long before apply foundation on top of it. If you have sensitive skin, this is definitely your best bet for sunscreen!

So far I am so happy with this sunscreen. I wish I had discovered it sooner! I have very sensitive and reactive skin, mild rosacea and every other sunscreen has caused redness, burning and hurts my eyes. This seems to calm my skin, works very well under makeup (mineral powder or liquid) and seems to keep my skin feeling balanced throughout the day. This does not irritate my eyes at all. I can apply it both under my eyes and on my brow bone. It is not oily or cakey. Such a great product!
