My other vizio soundbar died one night. Tried to fix it, but to no avail. So, I bought this one, an upgrade to mine. All went perfect, except for the fact that apparently, no one in the world but me uses an projector as a TV. There was very little in the way of support for my chosen viewing device which wasn’t that much of an issue. There was an issue though. That issue is that there’s zero explanation on what you can and cannot use HDMI-ARC with. I had to learn the hard way, that you can’t go from non-arc to arc. Had to buy an audio extractor in order to make that connection work between it, the bar and my Xbox Series X. After 2 weeks with only the sound coming from my headphones plugged into my controller, part of that waiting for the bar and extractor to get to me, it was a relief when it all worked. Sound quality is top notch.
Tl;Dr If you don’t have an arc device, buy an audio extractor. The manual won’t tell you anything.

This is a huge upgrade over the TV speakers and even a 2.1 setup for the price.
I would highly suggest spending a few movies/shows worth of time customizing the sound to your liking and environment as the out of box experience is, not great.
As a 20 year audio engineer, I can hear things others dont. I would have given this 5 stars if I had a little more options as far as customizing the EQ frequencies as this setup only allows you to change bass and treble. Issue is bass ranges anywhere from 10-400hz and treble ranges anywhere from 3k-20k .. so making adjustments using 2 vague bass and treble sliders leaves something to be desired as far as getting the perfect sound.
However at about 230$ after taxes, I am very happy with the overall sound and the 5.1 experience. Dual surround is great as well depending on the mood Im in and which movie or show Im watching. Sometimes I like the voices to play out of all the speakers lol.
Also, the DTS X feature definately helps remove “localization” of the speakers as well. Most people say to turn it off for 5.1 surround as 5.1 is more accurate but, at least with this setup, 5.1 without DTS X also causes more localization of the audio and to be honest I think when DTS X is enabled it only uses it on the soundbar and subwoofer while watching 5.1 content, and not the satelite speakers… as far as I have been able to notice.
The subwoofer sounds AMAZING for its size. I have it up under my tv and even then I can feel rumble in my recliner and the entire room will fill up with a deep toned, wide bass that you would never have gotten out of a subwoofer this size 10 years ago. Sometimes you can localize the deep bass in voices to the subwoofer but any type of musical or cinematic style bass sounds do not sound localized, which is amazing.

Great sound but the subwoofer and back speaker has crackling sound and static noise. For $650 in Canada it’s not worth it, the damn thing cost $200 at Costco in the states. It’s not worth the money and the headache.

Por el precio es lo mejor que he visto despues de mucha investigacion, estoy muy contento con el desempenio. Claro, despues de un rato de estar haciendo pruebas, note que bajandole el bajo dos puntos y toda la demas configuracion en default da los mejores resultados. Este equipo es el sweetspot de sistemas de audio para tu television en mi opinion, despues de esto empiezan los diminishing returns de poca mejora por mucho mas precio. Vale la pena!

ESTOY EDITANDO MI RESEÑA. DEJÓ DE FUNCIONAR A LOS 3 MESES. ESTÁ MUERTA.—–
RESEÑA ORIGINAL: La compré para reemplazar un viejo equipo viejo y estorboso de amplificador y bocinas, y estoy bastante contento con la barra. Super fácil de instalar y configurar, hace todo sola, se sincroniza con la TV, etc. Puedo poner música desde el teléfono o la computadora por bluetooth, y con su puerto auxiliar se puede conectar algo mas viejo como un ipod por ejemplo. Algo que nadie menciona y nunca encontré la información, es como conectar aparatos viejos como un DVD o un nitendo wii que traen cables RCA. Resulta que los RCA los conectas a la TV, y de ahi la TV transmite el sonido hacia la soundbar a través del cable HDMI!!!!
El sonido es bueno, pero no es de primera calidad. La mayoría de la música, películas y TV en general se oye muy bien. Pero yo escucho heavy metal, y para ese género no es el sonido óptimo, se escucha algo hueco o raro. Pero otros tipos de música como electrónica etc. se oyen MUY bien.
La gran ventaja es que con el control remoto le puedes mover T-O-D-O. Bajos, agudos, medios, canal central, modos surround, etc. Asi que es cuestión de jugar con todos los ajustes y tal vez encuentre una combinación ideal para mi heavy metal.
Algo que me sorprende es el subwoofer. Es MINIATURA, lo ves y parece para desktop. Pero no decepciona, hace bien su trabajo y le da potencia a los bajos que para mi son muy importantes.
Con su diseño discreto y minimalista, ocultando y ordenando los cables, le da una apariencia muy limpia y ordenada al espacio. Extraño el look clásico de mis bocinas viejas, pero definitivamente esta barrita vino a hacer el trabajo con su buena potencia. ¿La recomiendo? ¡¡¡Claro que si!!!!

Honestamente no tenia una alta expectativa de este producto, ya que su precio es bastante bajo a comparación de otros productos en el mercado. Y puedo decir que estoy más que satisfecho con la compra. Cuenta con un sonido bastante bueno, no se distorsiona y los bajos se escuchan muy bien. Yo este producto lo compre pensando en usarlo para ver películas y series, y hasta el momento me hace sentir como si estuviera en un cine.
El paquete incluye 1 barra de sonido, 1 subwoofer y 2 bocinas surround. Además, trae consigo un cable de sonido optico, un cable de HDMI/ARC, sus respectivos cables para conectar las bocinas surround al subwoofer, que dicho sea de paso cuentan con un gran largo en tamaño, trae un cable para conectar la barra de sonido a luz y uno para conectar el subwoofer a luz, además de un control y dos pilas AA.
Uno de los puntos que me encantaron es que el subwoofer es inalámbrico, por lo que no tienes que preocuparte por tener demasiados cables recorriendo tu habitación. Además el control tiene una mini pantalla LCD para ver la acción que estas realizando.
La barra de sonido cuenta con una entrada de sonido optico, una entrada HDMI/ARC, una entrada de cable Auxiliar, y otra de Auxiliar/VX, en la cual puedes conectar tu echo dot para utilizar con el teatro en casa, asi como una entrada de USB para poder reproducir música desde esta. Otro detalle importante es que cuenta con Bluetooth y para conectarlo es bastante sencillo. La barra cuenta también con una tira de leds las cuales te indican el sonido que la barra tiene al subir o bajar volumen, entre otros indicadores.
La instalación es bastante sencilla y rápida.
En conclusión, este sonido no le pide nada a productos de mayor precio o marcas reconocidas, por el precio puedes encontrar una gran calidad.
ACTUALIZACIÓN: Después de un mes de uso sigo muy satisfecho con el producto, he probado las distintas configuraciones de sonido y todas son excelentes. El único detalle viene el el Subwoofer, ya que en ocasiones se puede escuchar un tipo de ruido en este, pero no es algo molesto.
