I normally would not spend this amount of money on any cosmetics, but I was offered this item through the vine program and I was already familiar with the brand’s solid reputation because my plastic surgeon has long been an official retailer of PCA SKIN. To be clear, for context, I have never had elective plastic surgery, (that’s the fun kind) but have had some reconstruction work as the result of an injury. Having said all that, I would absolutely buy this product again. I have used it now for 5 nights and I cannot believe the difference it has made to my complexion.
I’ve likely thrown hundreds of dollars away over the past year trying to find something that would clear up the horrible redness and dry patches that have suddenly become such a problem for me. I’ve had oily skin my entire life, but middle age has crept up on me (not to even mention pandemic stresses) and my skin has made a U-turn, not for the better. I have had more wrinkles appear as my skin has become dry and oftentimes a horrid red color accompanied by flakey or chapped textures, especially around my nose and marionette lines. After the 4th evening of using this on top of my serum and moisturizer I could tell that the redness and dryness were almost gone. This morning, number 5, I was beyond pleased to note that I didn’t even need concealer for color correction!
How often is it that you actually find a skin care product that does what it says its going to do, and in only 5 days??? Thank goodness I found this! From now on when I have a real skin care problem I’m going to go with a clinical product from PCA and not waste my time, money, and effort hoping to find a cheap fix.

This stuff is so smooth and soft…and smells so good I just want to bathe in it!!! You can just slather it on after your normal nighttime routine and your skin will feel so hydrated and will smell amazing.

For reference, I am in my early 40s and have combination, sensitive skin that has gotten more dry in the last couple of years. I don’t have a lot of sun damage or wrinkles, but I do have freckles and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. I also don’t drink enough water. I have been using the PCA SKIN Hyaluronic Acid Overnight Mask a few times per week for a couple of months now and I am very happy with it. It is fragranced, and that would usually be a deal breaker for me in a skin care treatment, however this product smells exactly like the Aveda Shampure line and that is my all time favorite scent. I need PCA skin to create a hand lotion in this same fragrance please!
Effectiveness: I apply this to my face, neck and decollete before bed as my last step. On days I use this I don’t use other treatments to avoid a reaction between ingredients. When I wake up in the morning my skin is soft and clear. I use micellar water to cleanse my face in the mornings instead of any kind of soap product and I find that my makeup goes on a lot better on the mornings after I’ve used this mask. I have to say that I notice the most improvement on my neck and chest area. I think the skin there is just thinner and more sensitive to dehydration (less oil) and that’s why I notice it more. The skin in these areas looks less crepey. I appreciate that hyaluronic acid is a humectant, but I also know that the effects aren’t permanent and to keep seeing the results I will have to keep using this or a similar product. Because of the price point, I would probably try a similar product to see if it worked just as well before coming back to this one.

I love this overnight face mask! It smells wonderful and actually moisturizes the skin so much! It is a little expensive though, so I use only when I need it.

Great part of my evening skin care routine. Minimizes fine lines and wrinkles, never causes irritation or redness. If you’re over 40, this is a perfect product to keep your skin looking healthy and young.
