Even after multiple washes these towels are still very soft and have been very durable. We’ve used them as hand towels and to wipe our dog’s paws and they have been great for both.

I have washed them, haven’t used them yet so don’t know about the absorbency.
But they are great, fluffy and not cheap looking like a lot of others.

Amazon basic hand towels, set of 12. Washed and dried up perfectly. I use them on a push mop I have and they work so much better than the microfiber that came with the mop. Was my housekeepers idea. She couldn’t have been more right. They clean remarkably better. Then, wash up perfectly. I couldn’t be happier – and time will tell. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. I purchased these back at college when I was dorming and really enjoyed them. They work perfectly well for cleaning but they were also a gem to dry. Sometimes thicker towels come out wet from the dryer and you have to leave them in for extra hours which is a pain when the laundry room is four floors down (first world problems I know). However, these are the perfect thickness and are a nice color. The screen often cannot capture the exact color of the product especially as everyones screen can produce a different image and color but these looked very good in person. I only wish I could have kept them longer, the only issue was I was using a prescription cream that stained fabrics that caused these to develop yellow streaks. This, however, was not the fault of the towels and they are a smart purchase.
