I washed them before using as recommended. Good sized clumps came off the towels. It’s nice that they have a larger than normal size.

No weird smells, lots of lint; will have to go thru wash cycle a few times. Not as absorbent as I would like. I’ll probably look for something else. But this can be my hair towel.

This is an ok towel set for the price and for what it is advertised as: The ad makes the point that these towels are “light”, and they are, but imo, a little too lightweight and not absorbent enough. They don’t give me the impression they will last that long. Would not order again. Will pay a little more and go with a heavier-weight material next time.

The towels are soft and thick. I wanted to try them because the price was great, but I was a bit disappointed. I was hoping they would absorbed water better. Overall they are a good deal.

Who Knew? The low prices in this department blew me away! I expected junk, when I bought face cloths
that were so inexpensive I bought a pack of 16 when all I needed was 2. And all sixteen were truly absorbent, soft, not too thick or thin and truly 100% cotton. The edges don’t seize up, there’s no decorative stitching band that shrinks, and dozens of laundering sessions don’t make them look or feel any different. The huge label is my one beef. You can cut it off so you don’t feel it, if you’re REALLY careful with the scissors. In hindsight, I can tell you it was worth it.And by the way, the platinum is really a nice gray.

The Good: Inexpensive, and they are pretty soft.
The Bad: Takes a few washing cycles to stop the fluff from shedding and sticking to all your clothes. They do not have great absorption, but they are adequate. If those are issues you care about you should spend more on a higher quality towel.
…and the ugly: There is no ugly, they look nice, and if you like to use bleach in your washer, these towels come out a sea foam green! I like it!
